Feature Development – Mendip Gate, Churchill

Lovers of life close to countryside, coast and city could find the home they want at Mendip Gate in Somerset…

Since its launch at the end of last year, Newland Homes’ Mendip Gate has proved popular with buyers in Somerset, but there are still opportunities for house-hunters looking for the ‘sweet spot’ of all the benefits of life that a combination of countryside, coast and city can bring.

Mendip Gate is set between the villages of Churchil and Langford, which is situated on the north edge of the Mendip Hills, a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), which includes places like Cheddar Gorge and Wookie Hole. When complete, Mendip Gate will comprise 40 three-, four- and five-bedroom houses in a range of designs that are contemporary but influenced by historic local styles, with a real variety of brick and render finishes making for scenic street scenes.

‘The Prestbury’ house type currently for sale on Plot 1 is one of the highlights of the development. At the front of this detached home is a spacious lounge with feature bay window. The site is open by appointment daily from 11.00am to 5.00pm. All homes are expected to be completed by next Spring.
