SOUTH WEST 

Last few homes for sale in Ottery St Mary – Exeter-based Connells estate agency reports that just a few homes left for sale at Otters Holt, the Acorn Property Group development in Ottery St Mary, Devon. The developer is offering to pay base rate Stamp Duty Land Tax on all remaining homes. Prices for the remaining homes start from £330,000 and are available through the government-backed Help to Buy scheme. WALES

New show home to open in Dinas Powys – Saturday 6 April is the day when Barratt Homes opens the doors to a brand new show home at its Scholars Park development in Dinas Powys in the Vale of Glamorgan. It’s a three-bedroom ‘Collaton’ house type, fully decorated and fitted and it represents the range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes that the housebuilder is delivering there. NORTH EAST/YORKS 

New homes launched in Sheffield – Avant Homes is welcoming house-hunters to a new range of starter homes and apartments in Waverley, Sheffield. Sorby Village is bringing a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes starting from £149,950. One is the three-bedroom ‘Heybridge’ house type, priced from £219,950, with open-plan dining area, bi-fold doors opening onto the rear garden, master bedroom with en suite shower room, another double bedroom, a single bedroom and a family bathroom. The ‘Milford’ is a two-bedroom apartment priced from £149,950. Help to Buy is available here. Latest phase launches at Selby development – Redrow has unveiled the latest collection of homes at Saxon Gardens, located in Sherburn-in-Elmet development, near Selby. There’s a range of three- and four-bedroom houses to choose from in designs from the housebuilder’s award-winning Heritage Collection homes. Just released are the ‘Ludlow’ three-bedroom semi-detached home, and the four-bedroom detached ‘Shrewsbury’ and ‘Cambridge’ styles. Prices start at £239,950. EAST MIDLANDS 

Last chance to buy at Derbyshire scheme – There are just a few plots left to buy at Cavendish Gardens, a Rippon Homes development in Tibshelf, Derbyshire. Two of them are plots 10 and 37, both with the ‘Shirland’ house style with open-plan kitchen/dining room, separate lounge and three bedrooms. The three-bedroom ‘Foxton’ on plot 8 is detached and has an en suite master bedroom with fitted wardrobes, and a separate garage. First homes released in Leighton Buzzard – With construction work well underway, Bellway has released the first three-bedroom homes at its Lestone Mews development in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. SOUTH EAST  

New show homes at Chichester development – Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are both unveiling new show homes at Madgwick Park in Chichester on Thursday 4 April. House-hunters in West Sussex have no fewer than four show homes to see now, covering a range of the kinds of property the site is offering. The Barratt Homes show houses are a two-bedroom ‘Roseberry’ (priced from £294,500) and the three-bedroom ‘Moresby’ (from £399,950). David Wilson Homes is opening a three-bedroom ‘Hadley’ (priced from £430,000) and a four-bedroom ‘Winstone’. New phase released at Hertfordshire site – Countryside has unveiled a second phase of homes at its South Oxhey Central development, the suburb to the south of Watford. It’s part of a £150m regeneration scheme to provide 514 homes along with shops, offices, parks and public spaces. Homes include one- and two-bedroom apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses. The site is just two minutes from Carpenders Park station. Part Exchange event in High Wycombe this weekend – Taylor Wimpey is hosting a Part Exchange event at its Pine Trees development in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire this Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April. Homeowners looking for a hassle-free move to a new home can find out more about the properties available and how the housebuilder can assist in selling the old property. This development offers a range of four- and five-bedroom family homes, all close to important amenities such as parkland, sports and play areas, a community centre and primary school. Sales start at new Basingstoke development – Barratt Homes is releasing new homes for sale at The White Building at Chapel Gate, a restoration of a landmark former factory in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Just four homes left at Oxfordshire village site – CALA Homes now has just four homes remaining for sale at its Cotefield development in the village of Bodicote, just south of Banbury. The development as a whole comprises 54 properties, but all those left for sale are four-bedroom detached houses. One is the three-storey ‘The Hempton’, priced at £524,950 and offering a large kitchen/breakfast room with doors to the rear garden, separate dining and sitting rooms, study, family bathroom, master bedroom with en suite and fitted wardrobes, and another en suite bedroom on the top floor. Launch of new homes in Tunbridge Wells – Countryside has released the first homes for sale at Regency Grange in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This development will be delivering two-bedroom apartments and maisonettes, together with two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses. First to go on sale are houses with from three to five bedrooms, priced from £560,000. EAST ANGLIA 

Incentives and offers at Cambridgeshire development – Kier Living Eastern is now offering a range of deals at its development The Park, a collection of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes in Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire. Part Exchange is available on some plots – popular with buyers who want to take the hassle out of selling their existing property and moving into their new one – and of the four plots currently available at a full price of between £475,000 and £499,995, one has been reduced to £450,000. Release of new homes near Huntingdon – Civic Living has unveiled a range of new homes at Alconbury Weald, the first of a brand new community of 5,000 being created by developer Urban&Civic a few miles from Huntingdon. With features such as higher-than-average ceiling heights, flexible internal layouts, large windows, balconies and courtyards, the new homes are aimed at providing luxury and a USP from other homes in the region. 'Dusty Shoe’ event in Bury St Edmunds – Taylor Wimpey is hosting a ‘Dusty Shoe’ event on Saturday 6 April to give potential buyers a chance to look around a couple of new homes before they are completed at the Lark Grange development in Bury St Edmunds. The ‘Crofton’ and ‘Yewdale’ house types will give buyers a chance to see first-hand the kind of properties being built at the site, and speak first-hand to the sales team. LONDON

New show home coming to Harrow development – Barratt London has just unveiled a new one-bedroom show apartment at Harrow Square, its development in north-west London.  It’s a project that will deliver new one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments along with a brand new public square, all on the doorstep of Harrow-on-the-Hill station, with its fast connections to the centre of the capital. Two new launches this Saturday – Hamptons is launching two new developments in the capital this Saturday 6 April. Greencrest Place is in Dollis Hill, a refurbishment and extension of a 1980s building that is bringing 23 contemporary-designed one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Close to a range of shops, amenities and transport links, prices here start at £319,950. The Cotton Yard is nine three- and four-bedroom townhouses in New Cross Gate, within the Hatcham Conservation Area and a few minutes from the station. Prices for three and four bedrooms start at £725,000 and £775,000 respectively. WEST MIDLANDS  

Part Exchange events at Warwickshire sites – Barratt Homes is inviting house-hunters across Warwickshire to a weekend of Part Exchange events at its developments across Warwickshire on Saturday 6 and Sunday 67 April. Second phase to launch at Solihull development – This Saturday 6 April sees Elevate Property Group releasing the second phase of homes at Princes Gate in Solihull. The developer has reported that 60% of properties on Phase 1 are already sold at Consort House, and there are 70 more coming up now at Royal House. Two will be unveiled as show homes, which will be open for viewing every Friday to Monday. These homes are close to Solihull’s railway station and to a range of shops and restaurants. With studio, one -bedroom and two-bedroom units, prices currently range from £162,500 to £400,000. SCOTLAND

Housebuilder unveils new house types in Hamilton – Miller Homes has opened its first ‘Fletcher’ house type show home at Highstonehall in Hamilton, one of a range of new designs it is offering at the development. The site is providing three-, four- and five-bedroom homes to the well-connected town. The ‘Fletcher’ has been fully interior designed. It has a fitted kitchen, living/dining room, lounge with bay window, family bathroom, master bedroom with en suite and three further bedrooms. Launch event in Manchester this weekend – There's a launch of new homes in Manchester this weekend, with developer Far East Consortium (FEC) inviting property buyers to Mount Yard, the latest phase of the MeadowSide residential scheme in the centre of the city. The event takes place on Saturday 6 April, from 10.00am to 4.00pm, at the development's marketing suite on Irk Street (M4 4JT). There’s a two-bedroom show apartment to explore and buyer incentives. The sales team will be there to offer information and guidance. Show home coming to Branston development – Staffordshire homebuyers will soon have the chance to look around a new show home in Branston.
