In 2018, the number of homes selling for £1m or higher reached a record number - according to Lloyds Bank, there were 14,638 properties that sold for over a million.
Figures also suggest that the East Midlands appears to be becoming a million-pound home property hotspot, with sales of homes worth over £1m increased by 67% in the first half of 2018.
