Manor House Park by Kier Living – Show Home Room by Room
The Blunham is a thoughtfully designed four-bedroom home suited to the evolving elements of modern family living.
Kier Living Eastern recently opened the doors of a new show home at its Manor House Park development in Biddenham, Bedfordshire.
Manor House Park is a collection of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes that have been crafted to attract range of buyers, including growing families, downsizers, couple and those looking to join the property ladder.
The Blunham is an impressive three-storey home offering four bedrooms, with an en-suite and double fitted wardrobes to the master bedroom, a living and dining area and a separate kitchen. It has been decorated and furnished by Edward Thomas Interiors to provide buyers a glimpse at what life could look like inside this home.
David Thomas, sales and marketing director at Kier Living Eastern, says: “The new show home at Manor House Park reflects the unrivalled levels of quality and care incorporated across all our homes. Biddenham boasts a strong community spirit, something often celebrated at a wide range of events, whilst also benefitting from Bedford just on the doorstep.”
Andy Richardson, managing director at Edward Thomas Interiors, says: “With this show home we focused on the importance of furniture placement, to show potential buyers how they could arrange each room to maximise space and potential. Each piece perfectly reflects the rural character of the local area, with a bright colour palette that evokes familiar feelings of comfort and togetherness.
Living room/dining area: “With the living and dining area we focused on maximising the room’s (already impressive) amount of space with the use of light and airy tones. Neutral tones are balanced by modest pops of colour, which is reflected in the copper toned pillows to the sofa and patterned curtains to the corner window and French doors.”
Kitchen: “The kitchen features a large transparent glass table that adds a modern touch and enhances the sense of space. To the top of the table is a potted plant that softens the sharp lines of the room, complemented by a set of upholstered chairs that add depth, character and sophistication.
Master bedroom: “The master bedroom sits to the second floor offering adults a child-free space. When designing this room, we looked for ways to best capture the essence of luxury hotel rooms. Like the living room/dining area, the result is a space that achieves a balance of colour, best illustrated by the textured cushions and earthy tones across the bed.”
Guest bedroom: “Here we looked to create a welcoming atmosphere that would make guests feel at right at home. The warm colour palette is true to the rural nature of the surrounding area, best reflected in the charcoal grey curtains and shades of terracotta.”
Second and third bedrooms: “The remaining two bedrooms resemble a more liberal use of colour. The woodland theme—whilst playful in its approach—is a reminder of the local area’s themes of exploration and discovery. The other bedroom features bright bohemian décor, with a large world map above the bed that’s in keeping with the element of travel.”
Considered one of Bedfordshire’s smallest villages, Biddenham boasts a great range of amenities that include a hospital, church and community centre in addition to a pub and sports pavilion.
The development is currently available with a range of incentives that include Help to Buy and Part Exchange. By taking on the sale of your current home, we can help take the stress away from the homebuying process and free you to move into your new Kier Living home.
