‘Garden Secret’ For New Home In Feniscowles
Posted 8 December 2021 by
Keith OsborneSet on a Lancashire hillside, some of the latest homes in Feniscowles hide an unusual feature designed to make the most of the location.
From the front, the new ‘Dovecote 4+’ looks similar to other properties on the popular Green Hills development from Kingswood Homes. It offers three floors of flexible living space with six potential configurations using the housebuilder’s own Shape Your Home concept.
Whichever layout is chosen, buyers will be able to make the most of their outside space with a multilevel garden, complete with their very own bridge.
Head of sales Lesley Myers explained: “The idea of buying a home with a bridge may seem a little far-fetched, but it’s a really clever feature that embraces the hillside location while enabling homeowners to make the most of their outside space.
“The multilevel garden design is almost like having two gardens instead of one. French doors open out from the ground floor onto a patio area; while up on the first floor bifold doors lead onto a bridge which leads to the upper level garden. It’s another example of how we’re prepared to innovate and do things differently to other housebuilders for the benefit of our homeowners.”
A four-bedroom, three-storey detached home with integral garage, the ‘Dovecote 4+’ is available from £319,995. There are three possible configurations for the ground floor – the standard option is with a bedroom or reception room and cloakroom. Buyers can opt to make the bedroom smaller and add an en suite and dressing room or they could select the “studio” layout and have an en suite and kitchenette on this level.
On the first floor, there’s a living room at the front, with combined kitchen, dining and family room at the rear including bi-fold doors onto the bridge and upper garden. A cloakroom completes the first floor. There are two optional layouts for the second floor – one with three bedrooms, including en suite to the main bedroom, plus a family bathroom or with the “sleep luxe” option buyers could have two en suite bedrooms, one with a dressing area, on this level.
Across Green Hills there’s range of semi-detached and detached homes, with current prices from £273,995. Construction at Green Hills is being overseen by Daniel Cato, winner of the coveted Seal of Excellence in the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards, who was named the North West regional winner in the ‘small builder’ category.
The show home at Green Hills is open daily from 10.00am to 5.000pm. Find out more from Kingswood Homes.
