Home Of The Day – ‘The Arbury’, Cartwright Homes

Posted 20 September 2022 by Keith Osborne

Our latest favourite new home is a five-bedroom house type called ‘The Arbury’ at a development in Twycross…

The WhatHouse? team is always on the lookout for notable new home designs and we’ve come across ‘The Arbury’, a three-storey house type from WhatHouse? Award-winner Cartwright Homes at its Orton Park development in Twycross, Leicestershire.

‘The Arbury’ is a five-bedroom house type set out over three floors, offering a wealth of flexible living space with a combination of traditionally inspired architecture and the up-to-date elements of interior layout and specification. The ground floor incorporates the kitchen/dining room, which runs the full width of the house with plentiful storage, worktops, fitted appliances and breakfast bar as well as French doors to the garden. There’s a study and a lounge at the front of the house and this floor is completed with a utility room, cloakroom, and a storage cupboard under the stairs.

The first floor incorporates a bathroom and three bedrooms (the principal bedroom having an en suite and dressing area). There are two more bedrooms and a bathroom off the landing on the top floor. This house comes with a garage and car port and is priced from £675,000.

Orton Park will be bringing a collection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes to a site in the popular village of Twycross. Nearby, the highly regarded Twycross House School (with an ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted) is within walking distance, and coupled with the children’s park, cricket club, zoo and theme parks, make the area a great option for all the family. For shops and amenities, the likes of Tamworth, Ashby and Leicester offer a wide variety of high street names and boutique shops, while for destinations further afield, the proximity of the M42, M69 & A5 put many major towns and cities within east reach.
