Our favourite new home for sale is a luxury apartment at City North, Finsbury Park, from Telford Homes...

The WhatHouse? team reports on our current favourite home for sale – today, we’re looking at a three-bedroom apartment at City North, a Telford Homes development in Finsbury , a popular and well-connected area in north London.

Plot B171 is in the City North West tower, a 19th-floor, 1,302-sq-ft, three-bedroom apartment with extensive views over the city’s varied landscape. It has a wonderful semi-circular layout as it shares the floor with only one other apartment. Through the front door, there’s a spacious hallway to welcome you and the first room off to the left, through double doors, is a very special, large open-plan kitchen/dining/living room. The units/worktop are along one wall, with a feature island from which to cook and look out of the floor-to-ceiling windows westwards to Alexandra Palace and Hampstead. This room also has a private balcony. Out to the hallway and you find bedroom three – the smallest, but still a good-sized double room with its own balcony – then bedroom two, the bathroom and finally the master bedroom with large north-facing window, en suite shower room and fitted wardrobes. This splendid pad is currently on the market for £1,127,500.

City North floorplanCity North is a development which provides a host of special benefits to residents. There’s a 24-hour concierge, rooftop terraces and private lounge, as well as basement bicycle storage. It’around 35 minutes to cycle into The City of London and there are frequent rail and Tube services from Finsbury Park station. There are diverse shops, bars and restaurants aplenty in the area.
