Posted 18 January 2021 by Keith Osborne

Our favourite new home for sale is the ‘Thornfield’ from Owl Homes at its Sunnyside View development in Northgate…

The WhatHouse? team reports on our current favourite new build home for sale – the four-bedroom ‘Thornfield’ is available right now at Sunnyside View, a development from Owl Homes in Northgate, a few miles north-east of Walsall in the West Midlands.

This is a house type currently available on Plot 33 (£310,000) and Plot 36 (£315,000). Family buyers will find it especially appealing, with plenty of space and flexibility. Downstairs, the living/dining room spans the width of the house, well-glazed and with French doors to the garden ensuring plenty of natural light to what could be the hub of the home. At the front of the house is a kitchen/breakfast room with plenty of worktop and storage. There’s also a WC off the hallway. Off the landing upstairs is the family bathroom and an airing cupboard, two double bedrooms (one with en suite shower room) and two single bedrooms, which could easily function as offices for people working from home. This house type also comes with an integral single garage.

The specification for this home and others at Sunnyside View includes individually designed kitchens with integrated appliances including induction hob, single oven and chimney hood, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There’s an integrated washing machine to selected plots. Bathrooms and en suites have contemporary sanitaryware by Roca with polished chrome brassware by Bristan. There are turfed garden areas with paved patios and pathways, and car charging points.

Sunnyside View is a collection of 62 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes less than five miles from Walsall town centre but with its own array of shops, restaurants and bars.
