The WhatHouse? team reports on our current favourite home for sale – today, it’s ‘The Willow’, a three-bedroom bungalow at St Mary’s Park in Gislingham, Suffolk, from Lovell Homes.

As we discovered a little while ago, the bungalow is a popular kind of house which housebuilders are now building more of to meet demand. ‘The Willow’ can be found on Plot 015 of this development. From the front door through the hallway, there’s a cloakroom and storage cupboard off to one side and it’s straight ahead to the living room, which has French doors out to the rear garden. Back to the hallway and next to see is the open-plan kitchen/dining room, with windows at front and rear and a generous amount of worktop and storage. Heading to the other side of the house, it’s past bedroom 3, which is a single room-cum-study, to two double bedrooms (with a bay window and an en suite shower room to the master), and a three-piece family bathroom.

The WillowThis house comes with a single garage and plenty of off-road parking and is priced £375,000. It can be purchased using Help to Buy or Part Exchange.

St Mary's View is on the edge but still close to the heart of the village of Gislingham, which is in the north of Suffolk, around 15 minutes’ drive from Diss, 25 minutes from Bury St Edmunds, 30 minutes from Ipswich and 40 minutes from Norwich. The development consists of a range of three-, four- and five-bedroom detached homes. Prices range from £375,000 to £600,000.
