Home of the Day – The ‘Lowery’, Kingswood Homes

Posted 6 October 2021 by Keith Osborne

Our favourite new home for sale today is the ‘Lowery’ at The Market Quarter, a development in Hatherleigh, Devon…

The favourite house type of the WhatHouse? team right now is called the ‘Lowery’, and it’s available at The Market Quarter, a Kingswood Homes development taking shape in the market town of Hatherleigh in Devon.

The ‘Lowery’ is a new release at this development, currently priced from £243,995. It’s a three-storey, three-bedroom house in a contemporary white render finish. To the ground floor is the traditional square lounge and kitchen/diner with long-edge worktop and French doors opening onto the rear garden. There is also a WC/utility room off the hallway. There are two double bedrooms and en suites/bathrooms on the first floor and the second floor is dedicated to another room that could be a double bedroom, with or without en suite.

Whether you need a home office, a playroom or an extra bathroom to avoid the morning rush, Kingswood Homes offers flexible floorplans under its Shape Your Home initiative, which allows you to design a layout that works for you. This might mean converting the family bathroom to another en suite, giving a real sense of independent living. One of the bedrooms on the first floor could be reduced in size to create a space that could be a single bedroom or home office, for example.

The Market Quarter is a collection of 102 new homes in the heart of the town and offers a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and bungalows situated around a new market square. It’s just a stroll to the well-served town centre, and the A386 connects Hatherleigh to a number of other towns between Bideford and Plymouth. The likes of Barnstaple, Exeter and Tiverton are all under an hour’s drive away.

The sales centre and show homes open daily, 10.00am to 5.00pm, and a visit can be made by appointment. Prices currently range from £195,995 to £307,995. Find out more about The Market Quarter from Kingswood Homes.
