The WhatHouse? team reports on our current favourite new home for sale right now – today, we pick the ‘Bayswater’ house type at Rosewood Grange, the David Wilson Homes development in Quedgeley, on the southern fringe of the city of Gloucester.

Plot 56, priced at £345,000, is the only one of this three-storey, four-bedroom house type still available, and it is perfect for families and downsizer who want that extra space for visitors. Off the hallway is the cloakroom on one side and a spacious sitting room with bay window on the other. At the back is the open-plan kitchen/dining/family room, which has French doors to the rear garden. On the first floor is the family bathroom and three bedrooms – two double (one with en suite) and a single that could instead be used as a home office. The whole of the top floor is dedicated to the master bedroom, with dressing area, en suite shower room and a vaulted ceiling. This home comes with a garage and parking, and house-hunters are welcome to ask about Help to Buy, and Part Exchange on their current home.

Rosewood Grange is part of the wider Hunts Grove development offers a range of three- and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached houses, priced between £272,500 and £470,000, with some savings offers of up to £19,500. With good schools nearby, there’s plenty of green space in this part of Gloucestershire but it’s also only six miles from the centre of Gloucester.

The ‘Bayswater’ house type is also available right now at other David Wilson Homes developments:

Canford Paddock in Bournemouth, Dorset, where Plot 226 is priced from £489,999, with a current offer of Stamp Duty paid.

Quarter Jack Park in Wimborne, Dorset, where Plot 26 is priced £507,000.

DWH @ Clipstone Park in Briggington, Bedfordshire, where Plot 44 is the last home available and ready to move into, priced £429,950, and has up to £9,000 of upgrades.
