Our favourite new home for sale is the ‘Camber’ at Berryfields, in Barnstaple, from Cavanna Homes...

The WhatHouse? team reports on our current favourite home for sale – today, we pick the ‘Camber’, a four-bedroom house type at Berryfields, a development from Cavanna Homes in Barnstaple, Devon.

One of the ‘Camber’ house types still available is on Plot 63 and priced at £370,000. This detached home is in the north-western corner of the development and looks out onto greenery, so it’s a quiet part of the development with no other homes opposite. It has an integral garage and ample off-road parking for two cars.

On the ground floor, at the front of the house is a lounge, under the stairs, the cloakroom and at the rear, across the full width of the house, is an open-plan room with the kitchen at one end and plenty of room for dining and relaxing. There are double doors out to the garden, and a door through to the garage, which has a handy utility area with sink and storage. Upstairs are the family bathroom and four comfortable double bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room. There are a number of choices and upgrades to consider, and Help to Buy can be used to purchase the house.

The Camber floorplanBerryfields is a development of 86 homes on the edge of town with a wide array of property types with one to five bedrooms. Within 10 minutes’ drive are Barnstaple town centre, its mainline station and numerous major supermarkets and other large stores. Drive a little further and you reach the coast and the glorious protected countryside of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Northam Burrows Country Park.

Cavanna Homes has achieved a 5-star rating from the Home Builders Federation for customer satisfaction for eight years running.
