The WhatHouse? team reports on our current favourite new home for sale right now – today, we pick the ‘Maidstone’ house type at Henbrook Gardens in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire from Barratt Homes

Henbrook Gardens is set on the banks of the Worcester and Birmingham canal in the village of Stoke Prior on Bromsgrove’s southern fringe. It is bringing a whole range of properties, from two-bedroom apartments to a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.

Currently, it is three- and four-bedroom houses which are available, one of which is the attractive and recently released ‘Maidstone’ on Plot 154. Priced from £274,995, this is an end-of-terrace house in the northeastern part of the site, close to a play area, public open space and pond.

The ground floor of this home has plenty of room to spend time with the family. There’s a cloakroom off the hallway, then it’s into a large, double-aspect lounge at the front of the house. At the rear is the kitchen/dining room with plenty of natural light thanks to the French doors that lead out to the garden. Upstairs is a bathroom, single bedroom and two double bedrooms, one featuring an en suite shower room.

Homes currently for sale at Henbrook Gardens range from £271,995 to £409,995. Help to Buy and the housebuilder’s own Part Exchange scheme are available and, subject to terms and conditions, there’s a current offer of a deposit boost on selected plots.

Barratt Homes is part of Barratt Developments, recently named WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year.
