If you’re planning to take a first step on the property ladder in London, or upgrading from your current property, London Help to Buy is a great way to make that process affordable.

London Help to Buy is a government-backed scheme that is available to first-time buyers and current homeowners who want to buy a brand new home in the capital. It is available on many developments and can be used on properties priced up to £600,000. It means buyers pay a deposit of just 5% and receive an equity loan of 40% of the property price, interest-free for the first five years, which they pay back monthly over the period they own that property.

It’s a very popular way to make buying a new home affordable – and here are a few examples of what you could buy with London Help to Buy right now.
