Hayfield Views by Hayfield Homes - Show Home Room by Room
Hayfield Homes recently opened the doors to the show home at its latest development, Hayfield Views in Great Bourton. Consisting of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, the development uses charming stone in keeping with the surrounding village architecture, and is just over three miles from Banbury for the ultimate convenience.
Claude Hooper Interiors took on the task of creating an interior design that met the brief for a beautiful, aspirational and inviting family home with a focus on reflecting Hayfield Homes’ trademark quality. Emily Wakefield, senior interior designer at Claude Hooper, comments, “We have thoroughly enjoyed bringing Hayfield Homes’ vision for this development to life through the interior styling. The whole design has been underpinned by Hayfield’s unwavering commitment to building high quality homes, which is emulated within every room.”
To create a contemporary twist on a traditional country home, well-built furniture with different wood finishes was used throughout, while the colour scheme was neutral, with soft hues of blue, green and hints of ochre.
Entrance Hall: As you walk through the doorway you enter an elegant entrance hall with a crystal glass pendant light that drops from the ceiling and floats in the middle of the stairs. It's painted in a beautiful, neutral shade which emphasises how light and spacious the entrance is.
Dining room: This is a smart room, with dark Andrew Martin panelled wallpaper to all of the walls and grand furnishings. An impressive circular mirror sits at the head of the table.
Study: This room includes a bespoke made 'L-shaped' desk and storage unit painted in a bold dark blue/grey paint.
Downstairs washroom: Striking feature wallpapers have been included throughout the show home, giving each room a unique character, and this bold green print with floral and bird images is no exception.
Kitchen/Garden Room: This beautiful room is located at the back of the house. This room is where the family will spend most of their time together, so soft furnishings were included to give a homely, inviting feel. Bi-fold doors open out onto the garden.
First bedroom: This room feels light, bright and luxurious with washed oak furniture and bronze details in the lighting, along with pretty Cole and Son wallpaper to the back wall.
Second bedroom: The second bedroom has a more dramatic feel, with darker walls encouraging its cosy feel, while the light wooden furniture softens the room.
Third bedroom: This room has been designed for a slightly older boy and is lightly themed with vintage trains. Panelled wallpaper runs along the bottom of all walls with a soft blue above. Dark navy has been added in the headboard to add depth, and industrial style furniture is included.
Fourth bedroom: This room has been designed to appeal to the children of the house. It can be used as a games/homework room and includes a single bed and desk to give plenty of space to study.
Fifth bedroom: This inviting room features pastel colours and pretty detailing, along with the patterned wallpaper that will be a hit with younger children.
The show home at Hayfield Views is located on Main Street, Great Bourton, Oxfordshire, OX17 1QU and is open daily from 10am-5pm.
