Fitzroy Gate is a luxury gated development by St James, with interiors designed by Killer5 Interior Design Studio.

It is set within the historic grounds of a beautifully-restored riverside estate in historic Old Isleworth, bordering Richmond and St Margarets. The seven-acre development comprises 39 Victorian and Neo-Georgian-style four-, five- and six-bedroom homes, many of which sit in a crescent, reflective of The Royal Crescent in Bath.

On Saturday 1 December, St James will hold a Christmas-themed Open Day at Fitzroy Gate to mark the beginning of the festive period. The event will include a wide range of Christmas festivities, from on-site reindeer feeding to wreath making and Christmas carolling. St James will also be providing a selection of food and drinks, including mulled wine and minced pies. In addition to the host of Christmas-themed activities, guests will be able to visit all three of the stunning show homes that are currently available to buy at the scheme.

Rebecca Charles, design director at Killer5 Interior Design Studio comments:

Fitzroy Gate (St James)Living room: We used a palette of ebony and ivory to create a monochromatic look for this classic, elegant and sophisticated lounge interior, which we softened with natural wood and brash finishes – the incorporation of contemporary art also helps to create an overall opulent feel.

Fitzroy Gate (St James)Kitchen/family room: For the spacious living area we used soft green and blue tones, with a large bespoke sofa which has exposed seam detailing, giving the room a relaxed and casual look. We also added a natural carved geometric cabinet and coffee table to create a focal point for the room.

Fitzroy Gate (St James)Master bedroom: For the master bedroom we created a bespoke ceiling height ‘his and hers’ headboard, edged in a black frame with brass detail. The headboard also gives a lovely contrast to the blush fabric effect wall covering, and highlights the glamorous atmosphere of the room. The theme of the natural wood carries though from the living spaces with a beautiful marquetry design on the bedside cabinets.

Fitzroy Gate (St James)Second bedroom: The theme of travel was the main inspiration for this bedroom. The room has a contemporary feel with the map of the world mural being the main focal point. The introduction of patterned fabrics also appeals to a younger audience.

Girls bedroom: We used pretty pink swan wallpaper as the sweet backdrop for this little girls room. We also used soft pastel pink tones mixed with the cream furniture, which gives a young feminine feel and is complimented with soft toys and swans.

Fitzroy Gate (St James)Boys bedroom: For the boy’s bedroom we wanted to create something fun and a little bit different. The superhero wall covering gives an injection of colour and fun, with the art work on the opposite wall mirroring the superhero theme.

Fitzroy Gate (St James)Study: In the study we used grey tones and dark furniture to create a smart moody atmosphere which is punctuated with the chrome bookcase. Our travel theme is also continued with the map art and globe object d’art.

Prices for a four-bedroom home at Fitzroy Gate start from £1,400,000. For more information, please visit fitzroygate.co.uk
