The latest development to launch in the growing commuter hotspot of north Kent, is Empire Park by Fernham Homes. Tucked into a secluded valley in Greenhithe, Empire Park is situated just 10 minutes’ drive from Ebbsfleet International station, which offers a high-speed commute into the capital in just 17 minutes.

Empire Park will deliver 28 new homes to this transforming part of Kent; providing a mix of beautiful and quality three-, four- and five-bedroom homes with characterful Kent architecture. The development has already received a high number of enquiries, predominantly from growing families finding themselves increasingly priced out of the capital.

Designed by Pip Stone, senior project manager of design company Jane Clayton, the interiors of the three-bedroom show home at Empire Park are luxurious and modern, perfectly proportioned for families looking for a bit more space to grow.

Pip Stone comments: “The scheme was designed in a fresh and calming palette to compliment the proportions of the rooms and showcase the sense of light throughout the house, owing to the large and many windows. The interior features an eclectic mix of furniture, patterns and quirky styling pieces as a nod towards the family who may live here, having collected and filled their home with things that make them happy.”

Empire Park (Fernham Homes)Living area: The neutral living room is a designated place for relaxation and family time, with its assortment of sofas, armchairs and footstools. The plush carpets give the room a cosy, comfortable feel, whilst the geometric patterns in the TV cabinet and the wallpaper add a stylish, modern touch.

Empire Park (Fernham Homes)Utility room: Utility rooms are highly popular at the moment, and it’s no wonder. The minimalist style of the utility room at Empire Park uses a trio of hexagonal mirrors to balance out the bright space, providing a neutral and pleasant area to hide away all of the household chores.

Empire Park (Fernham Homes)Kitchen / dining room: The tranquil tones of the kitchen and dining area ensure that neither functionality nor style is sacrificed. Greys and blues give a homely feel to the room, whilst the clean white lines of the kitchen cabinets bring a crisp, modern edge to the space.

Empire Park (Fernham Homes)Master bedroom: The neutral tones of the master bedroom tie in with the soft furnishings to give the room a comforting feel, whilst a contrasting pale wall and a mirrored wardrobe reflect natural light back into the room.

Empire Park (Fernham Homes)En-suite: The en-suite from the master bedroom uses the same neutral tones, but with a lighter palette to give the space a clean and modern feel. Metallic accents are paired with natural colours, to create the perfect balance between warm and cool.

Empire Park (Fernham Homes)Second bedroom: The second bedroom introduces more blues into the neutral colour scheme, using a variety of soft furnishings and ornaments. The grey hues are set off with metallic accents, whilst deeper shades appear in the lightshade and decorative cushions.

Third bedroom: The third bedroom cleverly incorporates the neutral tones and blues featured throughout the house into a child’s room. The woodland theme fits with the more natural colours, whilst the deeply coloured feature wall and quirky shelves bring sophistication and match the more modern aspects of the design.

Empire Park (Fernham Homes)Bathroom: The main upstairs bathroom uses the same colour scheme and tiles as the master bedroom’s en-suite. A large mirror and metallic ornaments reflect light, whilst accents of natural wood adhere to the neutral palette of the rest of the show home.

Prices at Empire Park currently start from £440,000 for a three-bedroom home, with Help to Buy and stamp duty incentives available on selected plots. For further information please visit fernham-homes.co.uk or call 01322 472 917.
