Charles Church is catering for the demands of family homebuyers with its range of four- and five-bedroom houses at Peterston Park in the up-and-coming village of Llanharan in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

There’s a downstairs WC and at the front of the home, a living room off one side of the hallway and a dining room off the other. There are two double bedrooms, two single rooms and a family bathroom. Top of the range right now is ‘The Fenchurch’, priced from £424,995, ideal for buyers looking for some extra space. Downstairs are the large kitchen/dining/family room with two lots of French doors, and a utility room with extra worktop and storage space. There’s a living room at the front, and a WC off the hallway. Off the landing upstairs are a couple of useful cupboards, the family bathroom and five bedrooms. Two of them are doubles which each has an en suite shower room and there are three smaller bedrooms that could easily serve another purpose as home office or play room, for example. This home type has an integral double garage.

Whichever house type you choose, close to home, you’ll find a lot of useful places – there are shops and cafés on the doorstep as well as a thriving local community centre which offers childcare, play schemes and support groups for various age groups. Peterston Park is 3.5 miles from the Old Town of Llantrisant, which is home to boutiques, restaurants and gift shops, and under seven miles from McArthurglen Designer Outlet in Bridgend.

This school offers education in English and Welsh. Y Pant Comprehensive School is a very prestigious one and is the main feeder school from Dolau Primary. Pencoed Comprehensive School in situated in the nearby village of Pencoed, and Llanharry Comprehensive School is the only Welsh comprehensive school in the county. There are a number of school bus services available.

There are miles of countryside within easy reach and it’s only half-an-hour to the coast and only a little more to find the Brecon Beacons National Park. Transport connections from this neighbourhood are very good. Junctions 34 and 35 are nearby giving access to the M4 bringing Cardiff and Swansea within easy reach. The local station is 0.8 miles from miles here, on a line that offers regular services between Swansea to London.

Cardiff city centre is only 16 miles away and offers an abundance of shops, places to eat and drink, amenities, sports and leisure facilities, and culture venues.
