Keith OsborneHousing association Bromford is providing property seekers in Lichfield with a range of brand new Shared Ownership homes across four developments.
Bower Park, Woodlands, Green Acres and Sutton Rise are the ideal places for house-hunters in and around Lichfield to settle down, with a collection of two- and three-bedroom Shared Ownership homes available with a 40% share value.
Shared Ownership gives those who do not currently own a property the chance to secure a new build home with Bromford. Homebuyers pay a mortgage on the share they own and pay rent on the remaining share, meaning only a smaller deposit is required.
Bower Park is located right in the cathedral city of Lichfield, on Claypit Lane, with homes available from £106,000 (40% of full market value of £265,000). Sutton Rise is situated nearby on Mount Road in Burntwood, only four miles away from Lichfield, and has properties available from £92,000 (40% of full market value of £230,000).
Woodlands and Green Acres are both situated in Alrewas, just five and six miles away from Lichfield respectively. Homes at Woodlands, on Anson Road, start at £88,000 (40% of full market value of £220,000), and at Green Acres, on Dark Lane, start at £100,000 (40% of full market value of £250,000).
All four developments benefit from a whole host of nearby amenities, such as general stores, pubs, and a range of schools for all ages. Lichfield itself offers a broad range of retail, leisure and cultural facilities, providing residents with plenty to enjoy.
Excellently connected, each development is close to Lichfield Trent Valley train station, which provides direct services to Birmingham and London. Residents also have easy access to the M6 and M42, making it perfect for commuters.
At each of the above developments, Bromford gives priority to customers who have a connection to Lichfield District Council (T&Cs apply), as the properties have been built specifically to meet the needs of local people. Local area connection criteria varies between developments, but is usually based on being a resident (or employed within) the area for two to five years, or on having a family connection, such as a parent, grandparent, child or sibling who has lived in the area for at least three years.
Karen Adams, sales manager at Bromford for Bower Park and Green Acres, said: “Lichfield is a vibrant and historic city and a wonderful place to call home, providing residents with the very best of both village and city living.
“Our Shared Ownership homes in Lichfield and the surrounding areas are popular with all types of customers, from first-time buyers taking their first steps onto the property ladder, to growing families craving more space, to downsizers seeking a more manageable property.
