Bringing Back The Bungalow In Welton

Posted 18 November 2020 by Keith Osborne

Beal Homes is building a number of bungalow designs, with two in particular now for sale at Bishop's Green...

They may have gone out of fashion for a while but bungalows are back in demand from house-hunters today, and Beal Homes is offering a range of types, with two still available at its Bishop’s Green development in Welton, Lincolnshire.

They are giving buyers the opportunity to avoid all the hassles and expense of buying an old property and updating it to modern standards through things like re-wiring, a new central heating system, replacement windows and an en suite to the main bedroom – something considered very luxurious 30 years ago but which is very much expected by property seekers these days.

The homes for sale at Bishop’s Green provide all the advantages of a brand new home, constructed to the latest standards, energy efficient and with top-quality fittings and appliances.

Furthermore with Beal Homes, if you buy at the right time, you can make your home unlike any other. As sales and marketing director Sue Waudby says: “You can personalise every aspect of your home to suit your lifestyle, from changing the structural layout to designing the outdoor space, plus everything in between.

“Many people have an outdated view of bungalows because of the perception that they are all older properties, needing complete refurbishment for modern living. But, with a Beal bungalow, you can have all the benefits of one-level living without the costs, disruption and stress of redeveloping a dated and neglected property.”

The Malton'The Malton'

‘The Malton’ is a two-bedroom house type, which is priced at £222,500. Off the hallway on one side are the kitchen/dining room and a separate lounge, which has French doors to the rear garden. Both bedrooms are good-sized double rooms. There is also a family bathroom.

‘The Ripon’ is an L-shaped three-bedroom bungalow type, priced at £300,000. At the rear is the good-sized lounge with doors to the garden, and next door is a kitchen/dining room. There’s a three-piece family bathroom, a single bedroom that could equally be used as a study or office in these days of working from home, and two double bedrooms, with the bonus of an en suite shower room to the larger one.

Beal Homes is also offering bungalows at its Somerby Croft development in Gainsborough, and at Pilgrim’s Walk in Hessle, East Yorkshire.
