Housebuilder’s Range Of Three-Bedroom Homes In Yorkshire

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes has a broad range of three-bedroom houses for sale at Yorkshire developments...

For growing families, downsizers and ambitious first-timers, a three-bedroom home could be the perfect choice of new home to buy.

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are building across the Yorkshire region and on many of their sites, there’s an excellent array of three-bedroom properties with different designs and layouts to suit a range of requirements.

We take a look at some of our favourites from the current choices.

Fleet Green in Hessle has a collection of three- and four-bedroom houses for sale right now. It is just minutes from the Humber Bridge and A164, yet be surrounded by scenic farmland and wide-open fields. Families will appreciate being close to a fantastic range of schools including Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Swanland Primary School. Plot 505 is a newly released ‘Buchanan’ house type. The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen/breakfast room and a spacious lounge; both featuring French doors to the rear garden. A useful utility room is located in the kitchen, helping to keep the house clutter-free. Downstairs also benefits from a separate study and WC. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with en suite shower, a single bedroom and a family bathroom. It is priced from £255,000.

Hesslewood Park is a David Wilson Homes collection on an adjoining site and currently offers a range of three- and four-bedroom properties for sale. The double-fronted ‘Hadley’ on Plot 210 comes with a south-west-facing garden, great for sun-lovers. There’s an open-plan kitchen/dining/.family room with utility room and French doors to the garden. There’s also a separate lounge and a cloakroom. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (one with en suite), a single bedroom and a bathroom. This home is priced at £276,000.

‘Palmerston’‘Palmerston’ house type

Harrier Chase in Brough is on the northern banks of the Humber Estuary and within the catchment area of the highly sought-after, Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ South Hunsley High School and Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ Hunsley Primary School. It currently offers a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes. There have been a number of the ‘Palmerston’ house type just released. Downstairs offers an open-plan kitchen diner with French doors to the garden, a comfortable lounge, and a useful cloakroom. Upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms, a further single bedroom, and a modern family bathroom. There's plenty of handy built-in storage throughout. It comes complete with parking for two cars and it pruiced from £208,000, qualifying for Help to Buy.

Heather Croft in on the edge of the North York Moors within wsalking distance of the centre of the thriving market town of Pickering. Help to Buy and the new Deposit Unlock scheme are available on selected plots. Plot 114 is an ‘Archford’ house type and David Wilson Homes’ Home of the Month, priced at £246,000. This semi-detached property has a bright and modern open-plan kitchen/dining room with French doors opening out onto the rear garden. A hallway separates the kitchen and the spacious lounge, with stairs leading to the first floor. There's also a useful downstairs WC and a handy built-in store cupboard. In Driffield is Mortimer Park, where there a currently a host of two- and three-bedroom houses for sale with prices starting at £159,000. Top of the range right now is the detached ‘Ennerdale’ at £225,000. There is a dual-aspect lounge, fully-fitted kitchen with a dining space and door to the south-west-facing garden, and a downstairs cloakroom neatly tucked in the hallway. Bedroom one has an en suite and there’s another double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom.

‘Moresby’‘Moresby’ house type

Park Edge is in Doncaster and offers a number of three- and four-bedroom houses right now. Close to the town centre, this will also appeal to families due to a number of Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ schools nearby, including Hungerhill School. In one corner, on Plot 38 and priced at £208,000, is the ‘Moresby’. This semi-detached home enjoys lots of light and plenty of space. There’s a warm and comfortable lounge and open-plan kitchen/diner. Upstairs you will find two double bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room, and there’s also a single bedroom and bathroom. Help to Buy is available on this home.

Queens Court is in Beverley, within easy reach of shops, amenities and eateries, while families will be impressed at being just a five-minute walk from Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Keldmarsh Primary School. The only three-bedroom house type for sale here right now is the ‘Denby’. This impressive detached home comes with an integral garage. Downstairs is dedicated to an open-plan, L-shaped kitchen/dining/living room which has the bonus of a utility room and cloakroom. All three bedrooms are spacious doubles, with an en suite shower room to bedroom one. The other two share the family bathroom. The price for this is £310,000.

In East Ardsley is Ambler’s Meadow, with two-, three- and four-bedroom houses currently for sale, starting from £219,995. Barratt’s Home of the Week here is the end-of-terrace ‘Maidstone’ on Plot 25. This comes with a lounge at the front, kitchen/dining room at the rear, downstairs cloakroom, two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a family bathroom. This home also has private parking for two cars. The special deal on this house is a £12,500 deposit boost, and it also comes with flooring worth £2,700. It is priced at £257,995.

Momentum has a lakeside location in Waverley, just a 15-minute drive away from Sheffield city centre, and currently has a number of three- and four-bedroom homes for sale, starting at £261,995. The ‘Brentford’ stands out as it offers three-storey living. Priced at £317,995, this end townhouse comes with open-plan dining kitchen with French doors opening out on to the garden. There are two reception rooms, a bright family room on the ground floor and a spacious lounge on the first floor. A double bedroom and a modern family bathroom can also be found on the first floor, while on the second floor are two more double bedrooms and a Jack-and-Jill shower room. This home comes with a £9,500 deposit boost.

‘Cannington’‘Cannington’ house type

Three- and four-bedroom house types can be found at Oughtibridge Valley. You'll benefit from a variety of scenic walks with direct access to the Upper Don Trail, but also a great range of local amenities and good commuting links to Sheffield and the wider region. Within a 20 minute drive of your new home you will also have easy access to Northern General Hospital, Meadowhall, Fox Valley Shopping Centre, the Peak District and much more. The ‘Cannington’ is another three-storey house type, priced from £354,995. The open-plan kitchen/dining room has a walk-through glazed bay leading out to the south-west-facing rear garden. There’s also a spacious lounge and a study. All three bedrooms are doubles, with an en suite to bedroom one. This property comes with allocated parking for two cars.

Saxon Dene is a development of three- and four-bedroom stone-built homes in Silsden, bordered by picturesque open countryside on the fringe of Yorkshire Dales National Park. There are excellent local amenities on your doorstep and notable local schools nearby, plus there’s easy access to Leeds and Bradford.

The ‘Kingsville’ is a three-floor house type which starts at £279,995. It has a kitchen/dining/family room, a cloakroom, useful storage under the stairs and off the hallway and there’s a study which could function as a fourth bedroom. On the first floor is an en suite double bedroom and a lounge, while on the top floor are the family bathroom and two bedrooms, one a double, the other a single. This home has parking for two cars.
