Barratt Developments, the former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year which sells under its Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has a number of offers and buying opportunities at developments in the North East of England.

Cherry Tree Park has homes for sale under both brands. It is situated in Ryhope, on the coast just south of Sunderland. It’s a great location both for the enjoyment of th coastline walking and cycling trails and also for access to the city centre, just four miles away. Young family buyers will be particularly interested as the nearby New Seaham Primary school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

With Barratt Homes, there is one final opportunity to purchase a two-bedroom home there, the end-of-terrace ‘Denford’. Both bedrooms are doubles and are complemented by an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with French doors to the garden, a downstairs WC and upstairs family bathroom. Priced at £169,995 (recently reduced from £174,995), it qualifies for Help to Buy, where a first-time buyer would need a 5% deposit.

With David Wilson Homes, there’s a range of four-bedroom detached homes for sale and a limited-time offer of a £5,000 shopping voucher when reserving one of them. The housebuilder is also inviting house-hunters to ask about Part Exchange. In addition to the current homes for sale, priced from £364,995, a new collection of four- and five-bedroom houses is set for release soon.
