Housebuilder’s Range Of Four-Bed Houses In The North East

Barratt Developments – WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year 2019, which offers homes under the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands – has a number of live sites across the North East of England right now that offer house types that could be perfect for growing families.

We take a look at some of the four-bedroom homes currently available in the region.

Cherry Tree Park is a development in Sunderland with sea views, cycle trails, open space views and play areas all on the doorstep. Barratt’s part of the development is already 80% sold but still offers three- and four-bedroom houses priced from £215,995 to £309,995. At £289,995, and available through Part Exchange, is the ‘Windermere’ on Plot 305. The ground floor has a lounge at the front, the upgraded kitchen/dining room with utility room at the rear, the integral single garage and asouth-west-facing garden. ‘Chelworth’ house type

David Wilson Homes is also building at Cherry Tree Park and while 70% sold, has a selection of four-bedroom house types for sale. For buyers with a current home to sell, Part Exchange is offered on the ‘Chelworth’ on Plot 82, from  £439,495. This specious, double-fronted detached home overlooks open space at the front and has its own large south-east-facing rear garden. At £309,995, the ‘Kingsley’ on Plot 98 comes with a garage, driveway and large back garden. This detached house has a spacious lounge at the front, a cloakroom and utility room of the hallway and, at the rear, a kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden. Three of the four bedrooms are doubles, while single bedroom four could equally function as nursery or home office. The layout is completed with a family bathroom.

In Throckley, on the western fringes of Newcastle upon Tyne, Barratt Homes is currently selling a range of three-and four-bedroom homes at Meadow Hill. Less than eight miles from the city centre, this village has plenty of its own amenities, an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted-rated primary school, and easy access to the A69. The ‘Kennford’ might be an ideal choice of home type here. Priced at £314,995 and coming with an integral garage and private driveway, all four of the bedrooms are doubles, with an en suite to bedroom one and a family bathroom for the others to share. The kitchen/dining room leads to a utility room and has French doors to the garden, and there’s some handy storage under the stairs.
