Housebuilder’s Offers On East Midlands Homes

Barratt Developments has deals worth thousands of pounds on homes in Northamptonsghire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire...

In the competitive East Midlands new homes market, as we approach the end of the year there are some excellent offers on the table at numerous developments and Barratt Developments – WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year in 2019 – is offering many homes with discounts, upgrades and special deals.

We take a look at a number of current developments in the East Midlands regions under its two ‘sister’ brands, Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes.

There are just two homes remaining at The Wickets, Earls Barton. The near-complete development is surrounded by countryside, a local vineyard and picturesque lakes. There’s a linear park running through the development as well as a footpath link into the village, where there’s a post office, library, chemist, Co-op, coffee shops and 'Good' Ofsted-rated schools.

Plot 195 is the ‘Lichfield’, a three-storey five-bedroom detached home priced from £649,995 which comes with almost £20,000 worth of extras, including a top-of-the-range kitchen with integrated appliances, and flooring throughout. Its 2,500 sq ft of living space includes an expansive open-plan kitchen with breakfast and family areas, a utility room, separate dining, living and study rooms, a principal bedroom with dressing area and full en suite, four more double bedrooms and two bathrooms. It comes with a detached double garage and private driveway parking for four cars.

There are a range of three- and four-bedroom houses available at Bertone Gardens, priced from £332,995 to £474,995. It’s only two miles from the market town of Kettering and with open countryside and an array of amenities on your doorstep.

Plot 256 is the ‘Acorn’, a detached three-bedroom home with integral garage, priced from £424,995. It currently comes with savings worth £14,000 in the shape of £5,000 towards your deposit and an upgraded kitchen and flooring worth £9,000. This house type has a large open-plan kitchen/diner, utility space, separate lounge, three double bedrooms (one with en suite), a study and a family bathroom.

Heathfield Nook is in Buxton and currently there’s a number of three- and four-bedroom homes available, priced from £239,495 to £348,995. It’s a great choice for families, being in an area with with lots of “Good” Ofsted-rated schools. The A6 heading north or south in only 10 minutes, making it ideal for commuting to work too.

‘Maidsley’‘Maidsley’

Plot 113 is called the ‘Maidsley’. This semi-detached three-bedroom house is priced from £239,495 and comes with upgrades worth over £3,640. There’s a spacious lounge leading to an open-plan kitchen with dining area and French doors to the garden. There's also a downstairs cloakroom and handy understairs storage. Upstairs you'll find an en suite main bedroom, a further double bedroom, a single bedroom, family bathroom and further storage. This home comes with parking for two cars.

Burnmill Grange in Market Harborough has a range of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, priced between £339,995 and £662,995. It’s only a five-minute drive from the well-served town centre and station, and family buyers will eb pleased to be within the catchment areas of Ridgeway Primary Academy and The Robert Smyth Academy.

Plot 44 is the ‘Kennett’ three-bedroom house type, priced from £343,995. Right now, it comes with the special offer of a £10,000 deposit contribution. This townhouse is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, overlooking green, open space. It has a bay-fronted lounge and a kitchen-diner with French doors out to the garden. There are two double bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor, while the second floor is dedicated to a double bedroom with its own en suite.

Grange View in Hugglescote has a range of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes for sale now, with prices ranging from £267,995 to £489,995. It’s within walking distance of Coalville town centre and a 15-minute drive from the M1, with the likes of Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Birmingham very commutable.

Plot 69 is the ‘Layton’, which is a four-bedroom house priced from £409,995 but which has over £16,000 worth of extras, including £5,000 towards. This property has an open-plan kitchen with a dining area separated by a half-wall, providing the luxury of a formal dining room with the ease of a dining kitchen. There are also French doors to the garden. A separate spacious lounge offers plenty of space to relax in the evening, there's a downstairs study that will be a real plus for home-workers. Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms, with an en suite to bedroom one, as well as the family bathroom. Outside is the single detached garage with parking for two cars.

New Lubbesthorpe is currently offering two-, three- and four-bedroom properties to suite various budgets, from £244,995 to £484,995. You'll be able to get to Leicester (15 minutes away) and the surrounding areas via the nearby M1 and M69, whilst having green space on your doorstep. There’s a host of shopping, dining and leisure options are a short drive away.

‘Cannington’‘Cannington’

There’s a special offer of three months’ mortgage paid (up to the value of £3,600) on Plot 7, a three-storey, three-bedroom mid-terrace house type called the ‘Cannington’, priced at £354,995. It’s in a great location on the edge of the development with views overlooking woodland. On the ground floor you will find the open-plan dining room and upgraded kitchen with a family area, plus a cloakroom and a study. On the first floor, there's a spacious lounge and the main bedroom, which comes with an en suite, in addition to the family bathroom and some handy storage off the landing. The second and third double bedrooms are on the top floor, both doubles, with bedroom two also benefitting from an en suite shower room. Upgraded kitchen included with integrated appliances. This home as a car port with space for two cars.

There are a number of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes currently for sale at David Wilson Homes at Kibworth in Leicestershire. Not far from Market Harborough, these homes are within a short walk of the centre of Kibworth and its range of shops and places to eat and drink. There are some great raod and rail connection nearby for commuting or pleasure.

A number of houses here are currently available with offers but top-of-the-range right now is the five-bedroom ‘Henley’ on Plot 55, which comes with a £10,000 Stamp Duty contribution, flooring package and upgraded kitchen. It’s an impressive family home that comes with a detached double garage and parking for four cars. Inside is an open-plan kitchen with family and breakfast areas, and French doors to the rear garden. There`s also a spacious lounge and a separate dining room. Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms and one single, which can easily be turned into a study if you work from home.
