Education Worker Scheme At Eastern Yorkshire Developments

Posted 4 February 2022 by Keith Osborne

Barratt Development is offering a big 'thank you' with a special Education Worker Deposit Contribution scheme...

Barratt Developments – 2019’s WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year – is operating a buyer initiative at sites across the East Riding of Yorkshire which can save people who work in education thousands of pounds when purchasing one of their homes.

Under the scheme, introduced in the region last year under the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, qualifying Education Workers are entitled to receive a deposit contribution of £750 for every £25,000 spent, up to a maximum contribution of £15,000. For example, for a home costing £360,000 the housebuilder’s contribution would be £10,800.

Paul Hogan, sales director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire East, said: “The teachers, tutors, lecturers and support staff who work in York have done a tremendous job in challenging circumstances over the last 18 months, so we wanted to thank them in the form of some extra support for those who might be looking to buy a new home.
