There’s no summer break for the property market across the East Midlands, and Nottinghamshire is no exception, as the next stage of the Stamp Duty holiday kicking off and still offering some buyers a considerable saving in costs if they complete before deadline.

Avant Homes has launched the first homes at its £43million Trinity Fields development, which will deliver 187 properties off North Road, two miles from the centre of Retford. It will form part of the council’s proposed Trinity Farm Urban Extension and will feature a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom design-led homes across 18 of Avant Homes’ contemporary house types.

Nottingham’s latest £1million apartment is under construction at the luxury Trent Bridge Quays development on the banks of the River Trent. Developer Elevate Property Group is bringing the development’s flagship penthouse apartment to the market with the promise of a bespoke specification.

Home Reach is a partnership between housing provider heylo and a number of housebuilders across England and is open to first-time buyers who meet the eligibility criteria. It is a way of purchasing a share of a new build home and paying a subsidised rent on the remainder, with heylo as the landlord. It offers all the benefits of homeownership but requires a much smaller deposit and mortgage than purchasing outright. If they wish, owners can buy further shares later as their budget allows, until they own 100%.
‘Elderwood’ house type
Right now, the three-bedroom ‘Elderwood’ is for sale through the scheme.
