Open Day Event Taking Place In Bournville
There’s an Open Day at the Manor House at Bournville Park development on Saturday 19 June, providing an opportunity for house-hunters to find out more about the Home Reach ‘part buy-part rent’ purchase scheme.
Taking place from 11.00am to 2.00pm, interested buyers can book an appointment to find out more about Home Reach, a scheme run by housing provider heylo in partnership with a number of housebuilders across England. The initiative is open to first-time buyers who meet the qualifying criteria and is a way of purchasing a share of a new build home (usually starting at 50%) and paying a subsidised rent on the remainder. There are all the benefits of homeownership but requires a much smaller deposit and mortgage than purchasing outright. Owners can buy further shares as their budget allows, until they own 100%.
Manor House at Bournville Park is in Northfield, around six miles south of the centre of Birmingham, and Home Reach is available on a collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments. Thanks to Home Reach, house-hunters have an opportunity at reserve one with a deposit of just £3,421, a fraction of what they would need if they bought the new home on the open market.
In addition, reserving a home at Manor House at Bournville Park through Home Reach by 31 July 2021 means the buyer, subject to terms and conditions, can benefit from a limited-time offer of a reservation fee of just £99, £1,000 towards legal fees and flooring (often an ‘extra’) included in the price.
A one-bedroom apartment there is currently priced at £94,500 for a 50% share (based on a full market value of £189,000). It has an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room which opens out to a private patio, a double bedroom and a family bathroom. There’s also the bonus of a sizeable cupboard off the hallway – storage being key to most buyers.
A two-bedroom apartment is available for £120,750 (based on 50% share of the full market price of £241,500). Both bedrooms are doubles, with the luxury of an en suite to bedroom one. There’s also the family bathroom and storage cupboard off the hallway, and the light-filled open-plan kitchen/living/dining room has sliding doors out to the private balcony.
Manor House at Bournville Park is the final phase of Bournville Park and set within the former ground of the Northfield Manor House, built on land that is deep in heritage, dating back to the mid-1700s. It’s surrounded by mature grassland but is well connected to local amenities, Northfield station and the A38.
