A Variety Of New Parkside Homes For Sale Around London

Posted 12 May 2022 by Keith Osborne

There are a variety of brand new homes for sale in London which overlook major parks and new open spaces...

Well into spring and with summer approaching, the sun is coming out and the gardens and parks of London are coming into bloom, so we look at a selection of the finest new parkside homes across the capital – and it’s not all restricted to the super-prime property market.

At prices from £324,000 up to £60million, each of these new parkside residential schemes is located either directly overlooking and fronting onto large parks, or they are designed around spacious gardens and outdoor space. Each of the projects comes with health and wellbeing in mind, with the homes offering an abundance of private outdoor space in the form of private balconies or terraces with garden and park views, complete with a wellness spa including a gymnasium, spa facilities and many with a swimming pool.

Peter Wetherell, founder & chairman of estate agency Wetherell, said: “Arguably the most sought-after and successful residential developments in London all have a number of key things in common, they overlook large parks, they have wellness centres, the homes provide private outside living space and they are designed with a focus on health and wellbeing.”

“Post the COVD-19 pandemic there has been a dramatic shift in the London property market, at all price points, with buyers now wanting homes that contribute to their health and wellbeing. We have found that there is now a strong ‘green-premium’ – with over 50% of Wetherell applicants express a wish to live overlooking a park or garden square – and there is also a significant ‘wellbeing premium’ with 75% of applicants for homes priced above £5 million in multi-unit residential developments now seek schemes which provide wellness centres/spa or gymnasium.”
