Launch Of New Homes in Kirkcaldy
Edinburgh-based developer Whiteburn has launched the first new properties for sale within its development of 72 new two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and 15 affordable homes in the grounds of the former Viewforth High School, on Loughborough Road, Kirkcaldy.
Initial demand for this impressive development of new homes is strong with all three properties in the first release sold to buyers who had pre-registered their interest in the development. Houses have been released for sale with prices starting at £240,000 for a three-bedroom home and £302,500 for a four-bedroom home.
Toria Jones, sales manager for Viewforth, added: “We are very excited to have launched homes for sale, and buyers can now reserve their property off-plan. Viewforth offers contemporary and stylish living within an established residential area in Kirkcaldy. The development enjoys the most incredible views towards the Firth of Forth and is a short walk from Ravenscraig Park and the historic Dysart Harbour.
“We have already seen phenomenal interest in our new homes during our pre-launch. We now have our sales centre open for meetings by appointment. Prospective buyers can come to find out more about the development and view the options available to individually tailor their home to their design style.
“We’re here to help buyers wherever they are on their property journey. I would encourage any interested buyers to arrange an appointment to visit our sales cabins for the opportunity to find out more about the individual homes that we have available for sale.”
As well as an impressive choice of new homes, residents at Viewforth will discover local shops, schools and plenty of recreational opportunities are on their doorstep, from local parks to supporting the Fife Flyers ice hockey team. The town centre, Kirkcaldy train station and Victoria Hospital are all just 20 minutes’ walk away, adding more convenience for buyers.
Managing director Eve McCurrich believes that Whiteburn’s emphasis on placemaking and regeneration will capitalise on the fantastic location of Viewforth and create uplifting new homes for people to live within this established neighbourhood. She explained further: “Our key objective is to breathe new life into this part of Kirkcaldy and to create a great place for people to live. The regeneration of the land shows our commitment to sustainable development, creating sustainable development in the heart of existing communities. Our new homes are built to a fantastic specification, giving homeowners the comfort of energy efficient homes and low maintenance costs.
“As an SME we value each of our customers and provide excellent service. We have recently asked for feedback from our homeowners, receiving fantastic testimonials which are on our web site.”
Whiteburn Group has secured investment from Housing Growth Partnership with an injection of £1.5million from its newly created £300million property fund for SME developers. It is also the first investment by HGP that will contribute to the delivery of Whiteburn’s new homes at Viewforth in Fife.
Whiteburn Projects is a member of the Considerate Constructor Scheme and is fully committed to a programme of engagement with local communities and key stakeholders throughout the lifetime of its developments. Its programme of community engagement for the Viewforth High School development has included discussions with Fife Council regarding a range of Section 75 community benefits, as well as two public consultation events.
