Keith OsborneHousing association Bromford, which is delivering new retirement homes in Oxfordshire, is celebrating winning a Bronze Award at this year’s WhatHouse? Awards for Best Retirement Development.
Park Gardens, situated off Bath Road near the centre of Banbury, was awarded the honour on Friday 19 November after the judges were impressed by its refreshingly new approach to design and lifestyle.
The 78-apartment development was recognised by a panel of expert judges for its wide range of facilities, including a café/bistro, wellbeing/beauty treatment rooms, hairdressing studio and activity room, that offer a relaxed and comfortable lifestyle for Park Gardens’ residents.
Bromford was also acknowledged for the successful integration of Park Gardens and its residents with the local community of Banbury, the provision of carefully designed outdoor space, and its commitment to the environment and biodiversity.
The annual WhatHouse? Awards are regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the housebuilding industry and aim to recognise exciting, dynamic and pioneering projects within the new build sector. Now in their 41st year, the Awards seek to shine a light on customer-focused housebuilders and housing associations across the country.
