More Price Discounts Offered To Key Workers

Posted 6 May 2020 by Keith Osborne

Weston Homes is offering £5,000 off the price of a new home reserved and/or purchased by key workers...

Weston Homes is providing a special price discount of £5,000 on its new homes across London and the Home Counties which are reserved and/or purchased by NHS staff and other key workers from the armed forces, emergency services or education sector.

The housebuilder is providing the special price discount to NHS doctors, nurses and other emergency service workers; teachers or active/veteran members of the British armed forces when they reserve an apartment at any Weston Homes development where new homes are available for sale. The initiative is a thank you by Weston Homes to frontline workers who are helping to save lives and keep essential services going during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In association with Great Dunmow Round Table (the Essex local community and charity organisation), the company has also purchased a large supply of bottled water – over 30,000 bottles – which it is storing and distributing to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, where NHS staff and critically ill patients need bottled water rather than water in jars and cups, in order to help minimise the spread of infection.

Weston Homes employees have also volunteered to help as NHS responders and they can use company cars to help them with this essential work.

Bob Weston, chairman and CEO of Weston Homes, says: “The NHS and other key workers are heroes helping to save lives, keep essential services open and battle COVID-19. In these unprecedented times we at Weston Homes want to show our gratitude for these key workers and to be able to help the NHS where we can, hence the bottled water provision to the hospitals, the NHS responders and the special discounts.”

Springfield ParkFrom a virtual tour of Springfield Park in Maidstone

With site visits currently unavailable due to lockdown and social distancing, Weston Homes has launched a number of ‘virtual tours’ to provide house-hunters with a high-quality, interactive 360° digital viewing of various new homes developments that can be seen on smartphone, tablet or PC/Mac. There’s also the opportunity to book an appointment with expert sales staff who can then provide an encrypted link to the viewer so that they can do the tour together, to ask questions and explain things in more detail.

‘Virtual tours’ of show homes are available at a wide range of Weston Homes developments including The Denham Film Studios in Denham, Buckinghamshire; Springfield Park in Kent; Watford Cross in Hertfordshire; and Fletton Quays in Peterborough.
