Over 60% Sold At Watford Development

Posted 22 February 2023 by Helen Christie

Over 60% of homes at Weston Homes’ The Laundry Works in Watford have now been sold…

Weston Homes’ sought-after residential neighbourhood The Laundry Works is now over 60% sold, and buyers can also save up to £15,000 on selected homes at the development if reserved by 28 February.

The 2.5-acre site was previously home to the old Watford Laundry Factory. The development from the WhatHouse? Award-winning housebuilder provides 248 new one-, two-  and three- bedroom apartments set within a wide tree-lined boulevard with landscaped gardens throughout, with prices starting from £281,000 and even further savings available with the current incentive.

This residential neighbourhood features eight distinctive brick façade buildings which range in height from three to 13 storeys, with nearly all apartments featuring a private terrace or balcony. The development also includes extensive car parking and secure cycle parking.

The Laundry Works will see the creation of a thriving new residential neighbourhood within an area noted for its green spaces and decidedly village-like feel. Watford Underground Station on the Metropolitan line is just a 10-minute walk away and offers excellent connections to central London and beyond. Watford’s largest open space, award-winning Cassiobury Park is nearby and the 165-acre Whippendell Wood offers numerous walks. The landscaped podium gardens within the development provide the perfect setting to meet neighbours and host friends and family close to home.
