West London development reports high interest in Home Change initiative
The sales team at Persimmon Homes’ St Andrew’s Park development in Uxbridge, west London, has seen a high proportion of homebuyers at the scheme making use of the company’s Home Change initiative.
Home Change is a way for Persimmon to help buyers with a home to sell to find a purchaser for their old property. The Persimmon team working with local estate agents to market the home at a competitive price, to make the transition from old home to new build as smooth as possible and take a lot of the day-to-day hassles of negotiation of the sale from the buyer.
Not only that, because it is Persimmon working with the local agents, the homebuyer doesn’t have to pay any agent’s fee in the selling of their home.
Greg Kaye, head of sales at Persimmon Homes North London, says the scheme has been enjoying particular success at its St Andrews Park development in Uxbridge. “We have seen quite an increase in the number of customers using our popular Home Change initiative,” he says. “People are clearly finding it a very useful way to move up the property ladder.”
Home Change works in three easy steps:
- Persimmon will work with the buyer to agree a price for their existing home.
- The housebuilder then appoints an estate agent to look after the marketing and arrange convenient viewing for potential buyers, keeping the seller in the loop and using their feedback.
- Once a buyer has been found, the company will continue to manage the sale of the property, leaving the buyer to enjoy a smooth experience before moving into their new homes.
“Our sales advisers will stay in touch with you throughout the whole process, ensuring that you know exactly what is going on at every step,” adds Kaye. “With no agent valuation costs, no estate agent fees, paperwork or headaches, with Home Change you can achieve the sale you want without the hassle and costs of selling.
“Persimmon Homes build houses to suit people at all stages of their life, and here at St Andrews Park we have a fantastic selection of one- and two-bedroom apartments, and three-, four- and five-bedroom houses,” adds Kaye. Prices for these homes currently range from £344,950 to £784,950.
St Andrews Park is located on the site of former RAF Uxbridge, less than a mile from Uxbridge tube station, making it a perfect spot from which to commute into central London. Locally, there are two shopping centres and a range of national and independent stores for retail therapy, and residents have an abundance of choice of leisure options locally too.
