Housebuilder Launches Home Reach In Derby

Posted 5 October 2021 by Keith Osborne

Wavensmere Homes has partnered with heylo to offer some houses for sale on the part buy-part rent scheme...

Midlands-based property developer Wavensmere Homes has today announced its partnership with heylo housing offering eight properties as part of the Home Reach scheme, comprising a selection of two- and three-bedroom homes at Nightingale Quarter, Derby.

The development has been significantly popular with buyers who are yearning for city centre living. Residents can enjoy multiple amenities such as the Derbion, Arboretum, The Derby Musuem and Art Gallery all within walking distance of their homes.

Nightingale QuarterNightingale Quarter is also one of the largest city centre regeneration sites in the UK, covering more than 18.5 acres. The development has been sympathetically designed to incorporate the iconic Victorian “Pepper Pot” buildings, which will remain on site as a permanent reminder of the heritage of the development.

Home Reach is a scheme that allows first-time buyers and those that do not currently own a home the opportunity to purchase a share in a new build or resale property.

Nightingale QuarterDonna Smith, sales director at Wavensmere Homes says: “We are delighted to announce the partnership between Wavensmere Homes and heylo housing, and that we are now able to offer our long-awaited shared ownership product to the market. As we are currently now all sold out of the houses at Nightingale Quarter, the Shared Ownership homes offer those buyers who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to afford a full price home, the chance to reserve either a two- or three-bedroom property that will be ready at the end of January. It’s a great opportunity!”

Prices are from £135,100 for a two-bedroom home or from £161,700 for a three-bedroom home for a 70% share (full market value, £193,000 and £231,000 respectively), subject to heylo housing eligibility criteria. There are eight properties available.
