View From Home Or In Person In West Scotland

Taylor Wimpey is offering house-hunters in East Renfrewshire and Glasgow video tours and first-hand site visits...

While the company recognises that looking around properties that are on the market continues to play a key part in the house-hunting process, Taylor Wimpey is offering an opportunity for potential buyers to get a glimpse of what life could be like at two of its developments in the West of Scotland from the comfort of their own sofa through its range of virtual tours and show home videos.

Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland said: “Our sales team has been working remotely over the past few months, helping customers through each stage of the homebuying journey, and we will continue to offer remote appointments. In fact, buyers can complete the whole reservation process by video call with us if that is their preference. But we also understand that it can be important for people to visualise themselves inside a new home before they commit to buying it. We hope that house hunters will book an appointment to pay us a visit and be inspired by what they see to be able to make their move to a new home.”

There are two new show homes at the Westfield Gate development in Maidenhill, the ‘Buchanan’ four-bedroom detached and the ‘Forbes’ five-bedroom detached. Buyers can choose from a range of four- and five-bedroom detached houses from the housebuilder’s Caledonian Collection, with plenty of space to call home including a fully-fitted kitchen with breakfast area, a generous living room, and well-proportioned bedrooms. Ceiling heights are generous in each room and with homes ranging from 1,629 sq ft to 2,560 sq ft. As well as offering a range of practical features including helpful storage, a downstairs WC and a utility room, many of the homes have a garden room with views to the private rear garden and the main bedroom has a dressing area.

Westfield Gate is located off Ayr Road within the wider Maidenhill masterplan, near Newton Mearns. The development offers 44 new homes with prices currently starting from £573,000 for the ‘Gordon’ four-bedroom detached home. Westfield Gate is part of a wider masterplan to create a new community that includes the recently opened Maidenhill Primary School, as well as plans for community facilities and transport upgrades.

Enjoying a semi-rural setting with stunning views across Glasgow, as well as the backdrop of Ben Lomond and the mountains of the Loch Lomond National Park, Westfield Gate offers an ideal location for buyers with the convenience of Newton Mearns and Glasgow city-centre, as well as the idyllic East Renfrewshire countryside all within very easy reach. Access to the M77 and other commuter routes, as well as the local train stations at Patterton and Whitecraigs means getting around is easy. An impressive range of local schools and local amenities is already making this a popular location choice for a range of buyers.

Newton Farm show homeAt Newton Farm development in Cambuslang, home-seekers can view three new show homes – the three-bedroom, semi-detached ‘Boswell’ and ‘Blair’, as well as the four-bedroom detached ‘Drummond’.

Taylor Wimpey’s latest phase of 136 new homes, which offers a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes, signals the start of the latest chapter for this multi million-pound development in Newton Village, a South Lanarkshire Community Growth Area, which includes a new primary school, local community and sporting facilities, playparks and cycleways. As this popular community and development grows, it still enjoys a peaceful setting in a rural location, and this latest new phase of homes aims to cater to the needs of modern family living at Newton Farm.

The new show homes and sales information centre for Newton Farm are open by appointment from Wednesday to Sunday between 11.0am and 5.30pm. The Westfield Gate development’s opening hours for appointments are Thursday to Monday from 11.00am to 5.30pm.
