House-Hunters Invited To New Hamilton Show Houses
Taylor Wimpey has just unveiled two new show homes at its Oakwood Grove in Hamilton, providing an opportunity for house-hunters in the region to see for themselves the potential of owning a home there.
These two show houses are the four-bedroom detached ‘Maxwell’, and five-bedroom ‘Wallace’, both of them detached house types with generous living space and both decorated and furnished by interiors experts Abercromby Duncan.
Suzanne Duncan, interior designer and MD of Abercromby Duncan, commented: “We’ve worked hard to create rooms that really make an impact in each of these beautiful show homes at Oakwood Grove in Hamilton. By tapping into key trends that we’re seeing, we have given potential buyers lots of helpful interior design tips they could easily replicate in their own new home.
“Whole walls of wall art are easy to achieve with wallpaper adorned with dramatic leaf prints and abstract patterns. You’ll see our designs aim to make the most of this look using both colour and monochrome tones in different rooms to create a bold style statement throughout both the ‘Maxwell’ and ‘Wallace’ show homes.
“Don’t be afraid of colour – we have used strong colours on walls and in our furniture choices throughout these stylish homes. Such as the sumptuous golden orange velvet sofa in the lounge of the ‘Maxwell’ four-bedroom detached home that sees us carrying that eye-catching colour through to styling in the master bedroom and it also pops as a style boost in each of the other bedrooms.
The ‘Wallace’ show home at Oakwood Grove
“Next door in the ‘Wallace’ five-bedroom detached, we’ve used shades of ochre yellow and burnt oranges and added depth of colour and texture by adding charcoal grey and inky black in our soft furnishings, styling and even wallcoverings to create a sense of being in every.
“The fifth bedroom has been styled to show buyers just how flexible this space is with a beautiful place to work or relax; while the dining room has been designed as an informal family room as a casual place for everyone to relax.”
Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, added: “We understand that it’s important for people to visualise themselves in a new home before they commit to buying it. Opening our latest show homes in Hamilton offers buyers the opportunity to get a feel for what living at Oakwood Grove could be like, and we hope that house hunters will pay us a visit and be inspired by what they see to be able to make their move to a new home this year.
“We also have a range of incentives available to help buyers who would like to move to a new home this year including a choice of 5% deposit contribution, part exchange or a deposit top-up. There’s also a choice of new homes available with an upgraded kitchen and free flooring, so it’s a great time to pop in and for a chat with the sales executive to see how we can get you on the move to a new home in Hamilton.”
Situated on Meikle Earnock Drive, this development forms part of the wider masterplan for the Brackenhill Farm area, which is a new neighbourhood within the Hamilton Community Growth Area (CGA).
There’s currently a choice of two- and three-bedroom terrace and semi-detached, as well as four- and five-bedroom detached homes. Prices currently range from £230,000 up to £412,000. The show homes and sales information centre opening hours are 11.00am to 5.30pm, Thursday to Monday and no appointments are needed. Find out more from Taylor Wimpey.
