Telford Homes has opened the latest show home at The Lock at Greenford Quay, with help from designers Artspace...

Telford Homes has launched a new two-bedroom show apartment at The Lock at the new waterside neighbourhood at Greenford Quay, in west London.

The show home features interiors that are both fun and elegant, and easily accessible for buyers to reproduce at an affordable price. The apartment includes one spacious bedroom, complete with en suite bathroom, as well as a bright guest bedroom. Down the hallway is an expansive open-plan kitchen, living and dining room area. The living area has been designed to showcase the multiple ways in which it can be adapted to meet different lifestyle needs – residents are able to work at the glass-top-desk during the day, and socialise out on the balcony with friends at night.

Designed by interior designers Artspace, the show home alludes to fun and contemporary London living. Drawing inspiration from the lively waterside Greenford Quay, the space embraces a natural flow of vivid colours illustrated in the abstract, hand-painted artwork. The show home boasts high windows, bringing in an abundance of natural light and space, which is accentuated by mirrors expertly positioned to amplify the space. Bringing the outside into the apartment, luscious plants can be found throughout the space, complementing the soft green featured in the hallway and master bedroom.

Lydia Graham, head of client services for Artspace, said: “The vibrant community life of Greenford has given us the inspiration to create a colourful, bold and upmarket scheme for the new show apartment at The Lock. We have given it the luxury touch through layering plush fabrics and introducing gold elements through the furniture, accessories and artwork. Finishing touches are really important to us so we are very excited to see this design come to life.”

Simon Halfhide, group sales director of Telford Homes, said: “Located in the heart of a new canalside community, The Lock at Greenford Quay is the ideal choice for those searching for their next home. Spacious and adaptable living spaces, plus access to a host of on-site amenities from hospitality offerings, to exercise areas and an abundance of outdoor space, means the development truly provides everything needed for a contemporary London lifestyle.”

The LockPositioned on the edge of the beautiful Grand Union Canal, residents at Greenford Quay can enjoy exploring nature with walks or cycles through ancient woodland, grassland, ponds and hedgerows, whilst still benefiting from easy access to central London and the wider country. Greenford station is just a few minutes’ walk away, offering access to the City and Canary Wharf via the Central line, or a 15-minute walk from Sudbury Hill on the Piccadilly line.

The development is also minutes away by Tube to West Ealing, a future Crossrail station. Residents will also benefit from multiple local bus routes, as well as a wide network of cycle lanes via the London Cycle Network. Extensive road links also surround the development, providing access to the North Circular and M25 via the A40.

The development forms part of Greenford Quay; a new waterfront neighbourhood. The new neighbourhood features a new canal footbridge, an listed heritage building and beautifully sculptured public space. It features an on-site primary school, with award-winning nursery, Puzzle Monkey, due to open soon.
