Open House Event In Wallyford In East Lothian

Posted 31 January 2023 by Helen Christie

Taylor Wimpey is hosting a ‘Hard Hat’ Open House event at its Ravensheugh development in Wallyford…

House-hunters in Wallyford will get a chance to go through the keyhole as Taylor Wimpey East Scotland opens the doors to a number of new homes that are almost complete and available for sale now at its Ravensheugh development situated on St Clements Way in this popular East Lothian town.

The ‘Hard Hat’ Open House event will take place at Ravensheugh on Saturday 4 February and Sunday 5 February from 10.30am – 4pm each day, and house-hunters can simply pop along to the development to view the available properties.

As part of this event, buyers will get the chance to wear a hard hat to step inside some of the new homes that are almost complete and are released for sale now including the Dunlop four-bedroom mid-terrace and end terrace townhouses (Plot 698, 699), as well as the Fraser four-bedroom detached home (Plot 697).

Each of these new homes comes complete with flooring throughout and integrated kitchen appliances. Potential purchasers can also choose one of the helpful offers that are available on these new homes including Part Exchange, 5% deposit contribution, LBTT or a contribution towards their mortgage making their fresh start in their new home that little bit easier.

Buyers can also pop in to see the two show homes at Ravensheugh, which will be open to view as part of this event. Designed to inspire a range of buyers keen to get on the move, the Hume and Maxwell show homes– both four-bedroom detached styles – each boast the latest interior looks and offer buyers the opportunity to see the stylish lifestyle they could have at Ravensheugh. These homes have been thoughtfully designed to offer space for first-time buyers, downsizers and even growing families and they all have great kerb appeal.

Kirsty McGill, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland comments: “This event is a great opportunity for potential purchasers to walk around the inside of the actual new home that’s almost complete that they could be calling their own. It means they can get a real feel for the layout of the house, its position in the development, and whether it fits their requirements. We’ve found this type of event is helpful for buyers who can’t visualise what a property will look like from a floor plan, or they can’t interpret what their new home may look like from a visit to our show homes. Of course, our show homes are always on hand to inspire buyers and showcase the lifestyle they could be enjoying at Ravensheugh. For buyers considering a new home and becoming part of this growing community in Wallyford, this event will give them a great opportunity to see inside a range of new homes to get a sense of where they feel most at home.”

Phase 2 at Ravensheugh offers buyers a choice of 149 two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, which provides a range of options for first-time buyers and growing families.

The development forms part of the wider St Clements Wells masterplan that has delivered a new primary school, local centre and community woodland along with new foot and cycle connections to Wallyford and the local train station. A new secondary school is almost complete.

Prices currently start from £279,995 for the Boswell three-bedroom semi-detached home.
