Luxury Lifestyle For Retirees In Lichfield

Posted 19 January 2022 by Helen Christie

For retirees in Lichfield, an independent and luxury lifestyle opportunity is now available…

WhatHouse? Award-winning retirement developer McCarthy Stone, has announced a selection of one- and two-bedroom apartments at its Retirement Living PLUS development,  Stowe Place, will shortly be available to buy off-plan.

Currently under construction, the development is set to welcome its first homeowners this July and will provide everything the over 70s need to enjoy an independent and active retirement.

Locals in Lichfield are being invited to come along to find out more about Stowe Place at an exclusive Information Event at The George Hotel on Bird Street.

The event is taking place from Wednesday 26 January through to Saturday 29 January with sessions between 11am and 4pm each day. Anyone wishing to attend is required to book an appointment in advance by calling 0800 201 4811.

Retirees who attend the forthcoming information event will be able to find out more about the development and there will be an opportunity to look at plans and apartment specifications. Guests will also be able to discover more about the range of flexible purchasing opportunities which are available, including the option to purchase outright, rent, or part buy and part rent. Local retirees can also book in to speak to the experienced sales team and ask any questions they may have about living at Stowe Place.

Debby Pavitt, divisional sales and marketing director for McCarthy Stone, says: “As we look ahead to 2022, it’s the perfect time to make plans, embrace change and enjoy what the New Year has in store. For many retirees this is a chance to consider downsizing their living accommodation and welcome a lifestyle change so they can live safely and happily surrounded by like-minded people in an independent and thriving community.

“By booking an appointment at our information event at The George Hotel this January, prospective purchasers will get a true look and feel for Stowe Place and find out everything they need to know about living there. We’d encourage anyone interested in coming along to book an appointment today.”

Once complete, Stowe Place will comprise a selection of 65 one- and two-bedroom retirement apartments. The development will feature a stylish homeowners’ lounge – perfect for getting to know new neighbours – as well as trendy bistro, offering freshly prepared food – most aptly shared amongst friends. Alongside beautiful gardens carefully designed to ensure the perfect outdoor living space, there will even be a guest suite for when family and friends come to stay.

Located within the heart of Lichfield’s bustling city centre, Stowe Place has been designed to offer a striking balance between modern day needs and the tranquillity afforded by rural living. Along the city’s historic streets, a wide selection of high street shops and independent boutiques offer the perfect spot for some retail therapy, while a pharmacy, optician, medical practice, and dentist are just a stone’s throw away. For something a bit different, Lichfield’s iconic cathedral is a must-see while a vast array of green spaces, including the popular Beacon Park, offer astonishing natural beauty.
