Housebuilder Hosts East Of England Events This Weekend

Keith OsborneDeveloper Stonebond is hosting a ‘We’ll Get You Moving’ workshop on Saturday 9 September at two of its new developments, Woodbanks in Takeley and Wintringham in St Neots.
These events mark the first of four informative workshops taking place during September at each of Stonebond’s developments, including Waterbeach in Cambridge and The Appleyard in Flitton.
Independent financial advisors will be on hand to offer prospective buyers free, non-obligation advice about mortgages and buying options. Stonebond’s helpful sales team will also be in attendance to promote the unmissable incentives on offer, including the Summer Mortgage Cap and give customers a tour around the show homes.
Annette Cole, sales and marketing director at Stonebond, commented: “Buying a home is one of the biggest investments our customers will make, so it’s crucial they understand the finances behind it and what their options are. We designed the ‘We’ll Get You Moving’ workshops so that potential buyers can not only receive free unbiased financial advice, but can also view our homes first-hand. We’ll be onsite to answer any questions about our Summer Mortgage Cap incentive whereby we will subsidise our customers’ mortgages so they’re capped at 3% for two years. We are also offering a sales and leaseback option and a £1,000 recommend a friend reward. We look forward to welcoming buyers to each of our sites throughout September.”
Show home at Woodbanks
The location of the first workshop, Woodbanks in Takeley comprises high specification three-bedroom bungalows, and three- and four-bedroom houses, ideal for families, upsizers and rightsizers. Energy-efficiency is at the centre of the design, with carefully chosen materials to maximise insulation and an electric car charging point provided to every home. As well as the striking, sustainable homes available, the development will also feature new bird watching areas, dog walking routes and outdoor play areas across the site’s outstanding green open space.
Takeley is set in the Uttlesford district of Essex, with Bishop’s Stortford to the West and Great Dunmow to the East, both of which offer a plethora of amenities. Bishop’s Stortford is the closest mainline train station, providing links to London St Pancras in under an hour.
Nestled in the countryside of St Neots and within easy reach of urban conveniences, Stonebond at Wintringham offers two- to five-bedroom houses and apartments. Wintringham, an already thriving new community being rolled out by master developer Urban&Civic, places residents in the centre of green areas, local amenities and excellent travel connections. The development is just a 12-minute walk from the vibrant riverside town of St Neots which benefits from diverse local attractions and a railway station offering services to London King’s Cross and St Pancras in under an hour.
The Summer Mortgage Cap, available on selected homes, is an incentive designed to give purchasers the reassurance and confidence they need to secure a new home. Those seeking to reap the rewards of the mortgage cap must complete on their new Stonebond home by 31 October 2023. In addition, selected plots are available for Part Exchange, Assisted Move and Sales and Leaseback, giving customers a variety of buying options.
Prices at Wintringham start from £400,000 for a two-bedroom home and at Woodbanks start from £520,000 for a three-bedroom home.
The ‘We’ll Get You Moving’ workshop will also take place on Saturday 16 September at Waterbeach and Saturday 23 September at The Appleyard, Flitton. Find out more at www.stonebondproperties.com
