Developer Announces Investor Deal For Brand New Cornwall Homes

Posted 30 September 2022 by Keith Osborne

Stephens + Stephens is offering a fixed return deal for qualifying investors at two Cornish coastal developments...

Cornish luxury property developer Stephens + Stephens is announcing a guaranteed fixed 10% gross yield return to buyers investing in Cornwall over a five-year period, available at a number of its developments on the county’s sought-after coast.

The latest Mintel research showing that the value of domestic holidays taken by British residents is forecasted to grow by almost 100% by 2025, from c. £8billion in 2020 to c. £16billion in 2025.

As one of the UK’s top five earning regions for property owners, Cornwall offers exceptional scenery, a unique microclimate, surf culture and top-quality gastro options.

Stephens + Stephens developments include Cliff Edge and One Pentire. Cliff Edge comprises Mykonos-inspired one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses and is situated in Newquay overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Prices on application. One Pentire comprises 74 apartments and penthouses, located in one of the most sought-after locations on the North Coast of Cornwall, at the gateway to the Pentire Headland. Starting prices for properties across the five storeys of the building range from £225,000 to £450,000.

Investors letting their properties using Stephens + Stephens holiday letting arm, Sunrise + Sunset, will receive a guaranteed fixed 10% gross yield over a five-year period for holiday let properties. In addition to the guaranteed return, investors can use the property for their own personal holidays as well, and a full turnkey service can be available for all investors, with a boutique concierge service, interior design agency and lettings team.

Helen Stephens, creative director at Stephens + Stephens, says: “Cornwall has always been a prime holiday location for those in the know, from families to surfers, to those looking for a luxurious escape from day-to-day city life. Since the pandemic, when many of us in the UK were forced to re-discover the fantastic holiday opportunities on home-soil. This combined with a weaker pound, meaning holiday makers get less for their money overseas and a shift towards experience-led holidays, has meant the demand for holiday rental properties in Cornwall has only grown.

“At Stephens + Stephens, we have over 30 years’ experience in creating award-winning, design-led, ultimate-luxe homes in some of Cornwall’s most sought-after spots. As we are from Cornwall, we know it inside out. We know that our properties create not only homes, but exceptional investment opportunities for those wanting to capitalise on the ‘staycation’ boom. This is why we’re confident in our guarantee of a minimum 10% gross yield – and can say that through holiday properties, the potential for significant earnings is greater than long-term lets. So confident, in fact, if we don’t hit our guarantee, we will make up any shortfall at the end each year out of the five-year period.”

Terms and conditions apply, and guaranteed return is only available on holiday lets and to qualifying investors. Find out more at stephensandstephens.com.
