Summer Events At Ready-To-Move-Into Development In Alperton
This summer, WhatHouse? Award-winning developer St George, is welcoming Londoners to its Grand Union development in Alperton to visit the new canalside neighbourhood for a series of cinema screenings throughout July.
Grand Union is a new canalside neighbourhood, offering a collection of Manhattan, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes. A number of three-bedroom homes are available to move into now. The development is set within landscaped gardens, just moments from Zone 3 Stonebridge station, offering residents easy access to the city and West End. Residents can enjoy an impressive collection of facilities, including a waterfall garden, a lounge and ten-pin bowling alley. Wimbledon screenings will begin daily from midday throughout the week, with the films airing between 5pm - 7pm on Fridays and 1pm – 3pm Saturdays. Visitors just need to bring a picnic blanket, or arrive early to secure a deck chair, and escape the city for some fun, free and family-friendly screenings at the picturesque, canalside location of the Grand Union piazza.

The Grand Union Community Hub café looking over the canalside piazza will also be serving cinema snacks and Pimms each weekend of Wimbledon, keeping you stocked up whilst you enjoy your time with friends and family.
The screening schedule is:
- Friday 7 July: Encanto
- Saturday 8 July: Little Mermaid
- Friday 14 July: Toy Story 4
- Saturday 15 July: Moana
Stonebridge Park and Alperton stations are a short stroll from Grand Union, offering direct links into central London via the overground and Bakerloo line, and Piccadilly line, respectively.
In addition to the cinema screenings, this summer Grand Union is hosting "YOU. ME. YOU. BYGONE. CONTEMPORARY. HEREAFTER”, a solo art exhibition featuring the exceptional works of local artist JennyBMArtist, which will run from 13 July to 26 August. An inaugural event, the exhibition will not only celebrate the immense talent of local artists but also highlights the rich diversity of the community at Grand Union.
A number of three-bedroom apartments at Grand Union are available to move into now, with prices starting from £780,000. The one-bedroom apartments in Waterview House currently start from £460,000, while the two-bedroom homes are available from £705,000.
