Award Comments
This is a stunning and landmark development by St George, part of the Berkeley Group. The scheme is set in a prime riverside location of a former brownfield site. Originally a gasworks, it is now a thriving community of mixed uses with over 1200 homes and commercial space and with accessible public transport very close by.

The key to the layout is in its imaginative use of water; a canal system set between blocks and echoing the former Chelsea Creek leading to the Thames. This creates a peaceful, continental-style waterside retreat that is simply a joy to behold. The east-west axis of the layout also takes full advantage of morning and evening sun. When we visited, the sunlight almost dancing on the water was a magnificent sight and most apartments are dual aspect to take full advantage of this.

This project has been a massive undertaking for St George over some 10 years and the results are superb. Chelsea Creek simply cannot be faulted.

From Exchange to Completion

Your Customer Service Manager will invite you to select your individual finishes for your new home, arrange to visit the property during the construction process, keep you up to date with construction progress and answer all questions you may have in the lead up to moving in to your new home.

After Completion

Your Customer Service Manager will look after you and your new home after completion. Once you have moved in, at your convenience, they will provide a detailed handover demonstration to encompass all aspects of your new home and the development. The Customer Service Team will then be on hand to answer any queries you may have. When buying a new home from St George, your home is covered by a 10-year building warranty and complemented by a further St George 2-year warranty.
