New Help to Buy To Launch On Apartments In Fleet

Keith OsborneSt Edward has announced that the new Help to Buy scheme is available on all apartments within Hartland Manor in Fleet, Hampshire.
Hartland Manor offers high-specification homes in a Georgian-inspired building, located at the end of a tree-lined boulevard. The one- and two-bedroom apartments benefit from open-plan living, dining and kitchen spaces, as well as spacious bedrooms and allocated parking. Prices start at £318,500 for a two-bedroom apartment.
This building is the centrepiece of Lakeside, the first phase of homes, which sets the scene for Hartland Village and provides a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments and three-, four- and five-bedroom houses. A traditionally inspired humped-back bridge will lead residents over a picturesque lake, an impressive entrance into the new village. The development is intertwined with an abundance of green open space, a magnificent 70-acre country park and a new two-form primary school. Over time, St Edward’s vision for Hartland Village will see it provide the social spaces and facilities that will foster a great community spirit and encourage friendships to build among residents, promoting active lifestyles and mental wellbeing.
Hartland Village is located just nine minutes by car to Fleet or Farnborough Main train stations, where services into London Waterloo take from 40 minutes and 34 minutes respectively. Trains from Farnborough North station, an 11-minute car journey away, travel to Guildford, Reading and Gatwick Airport.
The new Help to Buy regulations mean that the scheme is now exclusive to first-time buyers. A new price cap depends on location – for a Help to Buy property in Hampshire this is £437,600. First-time buyers using the scheme can secure a home with a 5% deposit and a government loan of up to 20% of the home’s value, taking out a 75% mortgage to cover the rest.
