Release Of Virtual Tour Of New Salford Housing Village

A virtual flythrough of one of Greater Manchester’s most ambitious and highly anticipated new housing developments has been released by developer Salboy.

The panoramic tour visualises how Castle Irwell – a development of 500 new homes providing two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and apartments situated on the site of the former Manchester Racecourse in Lower Kersal – will look when it is fully mature.

Salboy has just completed sales of all homes in the first two plots of release within phase one, with more than 59 new homes being snapped up off-plan in the first five months.

The first phase of development will see 157 homes created with prices starting from £209,950.

Simon Ismail, managing director of Salboy, said: “This new technology gives people an ultra-realistic vision of how Castle Irwell will look and feel, with its neighbourly courtyards and central village green with more than three acres of landscape open space.

Salboy is expecting to release the next available plots for sale in mid-May with reservations starting in June. The first show home is planned for later in the summer.

Castle Irwell has been designed by Manchester-based Calderpeel Architects and is being constructed by DOMIS Construction. The first new residents are expected to move in this summer.
