Keith OsborneWith sales of its Aston Fields development in Shifnal, Shropshire continuing apace, Redrow has bowed to buyer interest and launched a new development in the town with 55 more homes to choose from.
The Uplands has been available to ‘early-bird’ house-hunters looking to buy a new home off-plan, but now the new collection of detached homes is being made generally.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), says: “Launched in September 2014, Aston Fields has been a great success. We’ve sold half of the homes and welcome dozens of happy homeowners. We’ve also built a strong database of more than 400 people who’ve expressed an interest in The Uplands. Two prospective purchasers were so keen that they arrived on site in the early hours to be at the front of the queue when we held a special preview event and we have a list of people who want to buy particular properties not yet released for sale.”
Like its neighbour, The Uplands features house types from the award-winning housebuilder’s Heritage Collection, with architecture inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement and the latest open-plan layouts and high-specification interiors.
Aston Fields features four-bedroom detached properties priced from £232,995, while The Uplands offers a choice of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes with current prices from £314,995 to £459,995.
“People in Shifnal love how our Heritage Collection homes combine the character and charm of ‘period’ properties, with the style and convenience of being brand new,” Turnbull adds. “It’s a formula that’s proved popular at Aston Fields and with The Uplands increasing the choice available to buyers, we’re confident that we’ll be able to help satisfy demand for new homes in the area.”
Both developments are being sold from the sales office at Aston Fields on Aston Street, open daily from 10.00am to 5.30pm.
