Keith OsborneA brand new show home is due to be unveiled this weekend, Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January, at Redrow’s Swanland Heights, in Swanland, near Hull.
It’s hoped that visitors will be able to take inspiration from both the design of the home and how it showcases some of this year’s top interior trends, thanks to Redrow’s on dedicated team.
The ‘Leamington Lifestyle’ house type will open its doors, by appointment only, to give visitors an insight into what life will be like living in a Redrow home in the sought-after East Riding village.
Redrow’s in-house interior design team, led by Alysha Alli, have styled the property with some of the biggest interior design trends forecast for 2021.
“As well as showcasing property layouts, specification choices and upgrade options, we also like to use our show homes to be creative and relevant with industry trends in mind when designing all aspects,” she said.
“Throughout the show home, we have drawn inspiration from classical civilisations such as Rome and Greece. This is reflected through the lighting design and accessories including celestial orbs, fluid shaping in large accessories and accent fabrics on scatter cushions have contemporary mosaic style patterns.
“Materials including marble, burnished brass and dull gold, eglomised glass and polished concrete have been incorporated in furniture and accessories such as console tables, coffee tables and bedside lighting which make a contemporary statement.”

Colour arrangements that are set to be lead the way include burnt oranges, rich ochres and lush emerald greens set alongside warm baked taupe tones.
Alysha added: “We’ve featured rich, baked colours in large abstract artwork and hints of this palette in our accent scatter cushions, which bring warmth and depth to the rooms.”
In the kitchen, a dark wenge wood and glass dining table and contemporary curved back dining chairs have been mixed with a pop of deep emerald green to create a fresh yet timeless space.
The show home is from the housebuilder’s ‘Lifestyle’ range and offers open-plan living downstairs and three larger bedrooms that each come with their own en suite, on the footprint of what would usually be a four-bedroom home. The main bedroom also features a walk-in wardrobe.
Located on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, just two miles north of the River Humber and only seven miles from the city of Hull, Swanland Heights is truly in a great location.
With plenty of unspoilt scenery nearby plus the historic market town of Beverley within easy reach, it’s no wonder buyers are finding all they need at this newly launched development.
Current prices are from £314,950 for a three-bedroom detached ‘Warwick’ to £394,950 for a ‘Leamington Lifestyle’ just like the show home.
The show home will be open from Thursday to Monday from 10.00am to 5.30pm.
