Redrow Homes Thames Valley has released 70 new homes on the second phase of its Blaise Park development near Milton Hill in Oxfordshire.

With the first phase nearly sold out, the award-winning housebuilder has now brought a new selection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes to the development, off Mitchell Way, six miles south of Abingdon.

Included in the new phase is the ‘Sunningdale’, available from £599,995, which features a generous kitchen/dining area that opens up onto a south-facing garden and adjoins with a utility space. There is a separate lounge located at the front of the house, in addition to a snug facing onto the garden, which could also be used as a playroom or study. Upstairs, there is a family bathroom, two en suite bedrooms and two further bedrooms that would suit a large family, or those looking for multi-functional space.

The spacious ‘Richmond’, starting from £725,000, provides the perfect balance of shared rooms and personal space. The kitchen is at the heart of this home and leads to two separate semi-private areas that are ideally located for a dining room and study, gym, or family room. In addition to a double garage and utility room, there is a separate lounge where families can relax and unwind.

For those looking for something a little larger, the five-bedroom ‘Marlborough’, priced at £664,995, is beautifully crafted and features a spacious design. The open-plan kitchen/dining area allows natural light to flood through the property, highlighting the spacious rooms. In addition to a lounge at the front of the house, there is a separate multi-functional snug facing the garden, ideal as a second family room, gym or study. Upstairs, there are two en suite bedrooms, a family bathroom, two further double bedrooms and an additional space that would be suitable for a nursery, study or child’s bedroom.

Redrow Homes Thames Valley recently reopened its sales centres to visitors, following updated guidance issued by government to re-start the English housing market, with the show homes also available to view. Blaise Park has made a number of modifications to allow househunters to visit safely, including the facility to book exclusive, unaccompanied appointments, ensuring sales consultants are always two metres away from the customer, and installing protective screens and hand sanitiser throughout the sales centre. A thorough cleanse is performed after each appointment and opening hours have extended to 7.00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, to account for demand.

Sarah Boyce, sales director for Redrow Homes Thames Valley, said: “We were delighted to announce the launch of phase two at this popular development as the government’s updated guidance has permitted the reopening of our sales centre and show home.

“We know that life in lockdown has reinforced what house buyers want and need from a home. We’re seeing an increased interest in plots with large gardens, playrooms and offices, as homeowners adapt to the ‘new normal’.

“We would like to invite potential buyers in the area to discover the new homes, whether by booking a face-to-face or telephone appointment with one of our sales consultants, and are looking forward to showcasing all that this popular development has to offer.”

Blaise Park offers the ideal balance of rural living and great connections to surrounding towns, including Abingdon and Didcot. The centre of Oxford is just 11 miles away from the development, and the nearby Didcot Parkway train station means you can travel to Reading, Swindon or Oxford in around 15 minutes, and London Paddington in less than an hour. With a primary school on your doorstep, and a brand new secondary school nearby, the development couldn’t be more convenient for families, and is perfect for couples looking to find their forever home.
