New Apartments Unveiled In Plasdwr
Redrow has launched a new collection of homes at its Cwrt Sant Ioan development in Plasdwr, available under the Help to Buy Wales initiative.
Now available from £220,995, they are priced under the £250,000 threshold to qualify for the government-backed scheme, first-time buyers purchase a brand new home with a 5% deposit.
The 27 luxury two-bedroom apartments are now for sale and set across three floors within three nine-unit blocks. As well as two double bedrooms, they come with two bathrooms and a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living room, and most have a private balcony. They will be ready to move into in Spring/Summer next year.
Plasdwr is a new community taking shape in west Cardiff, just ten minutes from the capital’s city centre. Residents here are close to public transport links and cycle routes as well as the M4. It has been designed to walking and cycling the easiest ways to get around and offers lots of green space on the doorstep.
Redrow sales manager Danielle Richards said: “The Cwrt Sant Ioan apartments are ideally located, with great walks, transport links and Cardiff city centre all easily reached. Plus, apartment living here is a bit different, with Plasdwr comprising almost 40% open space, so many first-time buyers who had been looking at houses are interested in these. Together with the Help to Buy making it possible for them to buy here and the reduction in outgoings through paying a mortgage rather than rent, we’re expecting as much interest from first-time buyers as from those wishing to downsize or invest.”
