Retirement Show Homes Now Open In Cirencester

Posted 21 July 2021 by Keith Osborne

Professionally designed apartments now demonstrate the lifestyle on offer to over-60s at Siddington Park...

Rangeford Villages has unveiled its first two show apartments at its latest retirement development Siddington Park, on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Cirencester in the Cotswolds.

Decorated by interior designer Rebekah Jones of Ombré Interior Design Ltd, the new one- and three-bedroom show apartments embrace the ethos of Siddington Park and its future residents, who will be semi or fully retired individuals seeking an activity-rich life in a friendly community.

The single-floor apartments have been designed with the needs of over-60s in mind, with lifts to all apartments, open-plan layouts, spacious kitchens and modern shower rooms with easy access walk-in showers. Many homes have the luxury of their own private outdoor space – either a garden patio or balcony – with views of the surrounding landscaped gardens and countryside.

The first residents are estimated to move in from March 2022 and once completed in September 2022 the village will offer 123 contemporary one- to three-bedroom apartments, with prices starting from £299,950.

Commenting on the concept of the new show homes, Rebekah Jones, said: "To me, Siddington Park is all about breaking down barriers – there is far too much clichéd design out there aimed at the senior living market and Rangeford Villages is all about individuality, modernity and a future proof living solution.

“The interior schemes within the show homes at Siddington Park reflect a fine balance between traditional and contemporary living. The Cotswold stone exteriors and sage-coloured windows, which give a nod to a more classical look, have been carefully translated internally so as not to compromise on the modern style and amenities owners of a Rangeford property have come to expect.”

Siddington ParkTo promote an independent lifestyle, all homes at Siddington Park will have their own front door and feature wide entrances and lifts as well as high-efficiency double-glazed windows, providing a bright and cheerful feel. Thorough insulation supports the energy-efficient underfloor heating.

The wealth of leisure amenities is a key benefit of owning a property at Siddington Park and facilities will rival those of a five-star hotel. The Pavilion Bistro, Bar and Lounge with outdoor terrace will form a social hub for residents, family and friends, while other facilities include an onsite swimming pool, hydro pool, gym and yoga/dance studio, cinema room, hair and beauty salon, activity, and guest suite for any family or visitors that wish to stay overnight while enjoying their own space.

Situated on former parkland site, the grounds will feature exceptional landscaped gardens, outdoor seating areas and pathways with intelligent night-time lighting, a boule court and raised beds and allotments for resident use. The pet friendly village will provide endless walking routes, both on and off the development with the historic town centre of Cirencester under two miles away.

Additional support will include concierge and housekeeping teams who can help with anything from replacing a light bulb, paying bills, to arranging appointments and transportation. For those who need it, Rangeford's Domiciliary Care team will also provide care and support, with tailored packages, plus there is 24/7 support available for extra peace of mind.

Rangeford Villages is now taking appointments for private in-person tours and is holding a show home opening event on Thursday 26 August. Find out more at www.rangefordvillages.co.uk.
